Crown Brewing — Restaurant in Center Township

Really great place. Pizza is hot, crust is crisp and delicious (ask for fresh vegetables) and beer options are varied and really good. Fun causal environment. I’m sad I can’t remember our bar tender/ waitress name, she was a young girl with straight blonde hair, she was amazing! Attentive, acknowledged us right away, helped make recommendations and was kind and made for a great night. I’ll admit you need to be patient, we actually had to come back a second night because the first night, we stood at door for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff and ended up leaving, I totally understand it was a very busy night, but it would helpful if management added two things - train everyone to nod and acknowledge those waiting at door and just say, something like hi, we see you, but we’re so crazy busy , but as soon as we have an open table someone will get to you , a simple acknowledgment would go a long way (or put a sign up list on stand by calendars?), second and I’m apparently new to this brewery thing, but why don’t brewers include a few flavor notes on the list of beers? I’m so confused by this, they brew these amazing beers and think up clever names and stuff, but give no info about there amazing works on the actual menus. Would have liked to have a bit of info on menu, especially on a super busy night when you don’t want to monopolize the...

My girlfriend and dog just finished eating at Carriage Court Pizza. We wanted to see the brewery area and experience it a bit separately. They had it almost oddly combined. Each place did have their own entry door, though, too. I thought it was a weird concept.

We walked inside Crown Brewing and ordered the Beauregard Blue in an 8oz serving for only $3.00. It didn’t really turn out how they made it seem. I figured it was a sour. It was more of an ale, so I didn’t care for it. The price is really cheap, though. We got a Pint of their Crown Soda Root Beer. It had a very dark-tone to it and was enriched with a nice, deep flavor. If they had it in diet-form, Id probably like it even more. We took home a Dude Java Porter Growler. They had a deal on Wednesday for $8.00, so we paid that plus $5.00 for the glass. For a size like that, that was a really good deal. It was pretty strong and I wasn’t a fan of it, either. It’s not a flavor id get in the future. You can’t really beat the price of it, though.

Our bartender was nice. She made our drinks fast and efficiently.

Overall, I wasn’t a fan of the brews I got. The prices are definitely reasonably here. I think someone else may enjoy it...

I have been going here for years. The crown blue and special forces IPA are my favorites here. You can get the pizza from carrige court pizza (which is next door) while visiting the brewery. It's really good pizza. They have always had very great staff here as well.

Quick change to my review. I was there the other day and I say at the bar and water leaks from the ceiling onto my lap. It wasn't a lot but it was enough to make me uncomfortable and if I had any electronics in my pocket they could have been ruined. I informed the staff and they said they were aware and the owner of the building refused to do anything about it and acted like there was nothing to be done about it.
