We arrived at 4 pm (starving, like most people do when they need something right away), and the first thing I noticed that the cook guy had cleaned the grill. When it came down to it, I and another two customers witnessed the cook slamming the pot after dumping the carnitas into the container, having asked by another employee who hesitated to ask him in the first place to make more carnitas. The cook glared at me to show that he was pissed off. At first, when we arrived, there was barely any meat left, (my husband and I had to double take on what time they closed) and so the portions that we were given was smaller then usual as they were stretching out what was left to work with. It was a gut twisting experience, most uncomfortable. The other employees showed their intimidation for the cook. He was a strawberry blonde tall guy with shoulder-length hair. Yes, I'm pointing out the bully in the kitchen for these poor guys and customers to beware of. There should not be such a person to be working among others trying their best and caring...
Read moreFirst time at Centerville location. 2 diners, 5 employees. 1 is sweeping, 1 is on the grill(showing off his muscles), 1 is putting on an apron, and heading towards dishes or something, the other 2 are in the back, I guess. I stood there waiting for someone to take my order. The first 3 employees made eye contact and said nothing, went on about themselves. Another comes from the back, looks at me, and says nothing, just walks past and goes over to the other that's messing with dishes or something. Remember, the place is quiet accept for 2 people eating. As I stand there for a few minutes, looking around, the employee sweeping puts down the broom and walks around to the order counter, and walks past me. She comes back with an apron on and gloves and asks me, "Can I help you?" I ordered 2 bags of chips. No smiles, no nothing, just a cold atmosphere. FYI.... CHIPS WERE OLD AND STALE. I'm gonna stick with my Bountiful location. I'm sorry you got rid of DQ, It...
Read moreI have never felt the urge to leave a review, let alone a bad review, but I just had the weirdest twilight zone experience. On November 24, 2024 at around 1:15 or 1:30, my bf and I walked into the store. There was one couple sitting down eating and there was another couple paying for their food — nobody was ordering. Nobody acknowledged our presence for no joke 5 minutes. There were a total of three employees and not a single one said anything to us. I understand that the two employees not at the register were probably working on a mobile order or something, but they could have said “hey, we’ll be right with you,” rather than standing with their backs to us. When the employee at the register finally helped us, he was friendly enough, but I found pieces of steak in my chicken burrito bowl. My boyfriend and I are still baffled by the service (or lack thereof) that we received. To not acknowledge the presence of customers is absolutely wild. What the...
