El Toro Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Centerville

I went for a late lunch. Chips and salsa are brought to the table. Salsa is fine and normal. The chips are fresh but cooked in old stale and burnt cooking oil.. the chips tasted terrible and smelled worse… Almost like motor oil. It’s all good.. it’s a free item. Not too much should be expected. The lunch steak fajitas that I ordered were a fraction of the size of the dinner menu and only a few dollars cheaper. Margarita was fine. My other party ordered a similar meal without tomatoes. Even though the waitress repeated the order twice, my partner still got tomatoes.. it was too much to complain about so we just didn’t. I would recommend the Eltoro on state route 741. I’m not sure if the management is better or the cooks are better. The one in centerville seems to want to fail.. good luck and I hope you improve. Attempted to chow-now order El Toro and they confirmed my order, told me around a 20 minute wait, then after I get there and wait AN HOUR AND A HALF they tell me they have decided to cancel my order because they are too busy to accommodate it! In the mean time, they have charged my card and I have now wasted an hour and a half of my life. I won't ever be going back because their lack of communication and customer service. Also, talk about HIGHLY breaking the 6ft rule. Gosh they were packing people in there and there weren't any rules being followed. Hmmm... May turn them...

Large menu of choices. Great chips and salsa. We have always had great service except for the last time. They are usually top notch but the last time we couldn’t get refills and we waited 45 minutes before we got our meals. Afterwards, we had to stop a gentleman passing by (not our server as we never saw her again) to get our check because we waited 30 minutes after we were done eating to get our bill.
