I went through the drive thru and was in a big hurry. I was given my food and away I went. When I got to my destination, I noticed that I didn't have my card that I paid with. I searched my car and couldn't find it. I called back to Jimmy John's to see if they just hadn't given it back to me and was told that they were in the middle of a rush so call back in about 15 minutes when the rush was to be over. I called back 15 minutes later to be told that they were still in the middle of a rush and that they still wouldn't go see if they had my card in their safe. I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came on to the phone he said that they were slammed and were down an employee so he wouldn't go check the safe. He told us that they frequently have this issue and to just come by and check to see if it was here during a not so busy time. We came back to get the card that night and when I went in one of the employees said "oh so you are the guy that we have been given the run around to." They had my card in their safe. I was in the store for less than 2 minutes. I was on the phone with the manager for more than 5 minutes. Read moreI've been there before and it's been decent enough, though not as quick as most Jimmy John's. Don't go on a night when it's busy, apparently. The wait wasn't terrible, but wasn't like you expect when they advertise "speedy fast service." They then missed a sandwich completely. When my husband asked if the total should be more, the employee taking the order, Adam, ignored him until we received our incorrect order. We had to re-order and wait, backing up the line behind us even further. When we got to our picnic every single sandwich (there were only 3, so this shouldn't have been that complicated) was incorrect. I'm most unimpressed because they put salami and prosciutto on a children's sandwich. What 5 year old kid eats that? How do you get that from "ham"? I normally don't complain about a place on Google reviews, but when the phone number on the receipt is no longer functioning I feel like the franchisee doesn't really care about their establishment. Read moreThey always take too long at this location. My goodness, you just have to slap on cold cuts and veggies! It's such an easy job, and if you can't deliver on a simple cuisine, you seriously need to hire better workers. No matter the time of day that my husband and I have come, they always go extremely slow. Not impressed at all.
I think the West Bountiful Jimmy John's is faster than this drive thru by the gas station. Also, when I place the order they can't hear me well, so I always have to repeat myself just to be sure that they don't get my order...
