Updating this to 4 stars from 1 star. Management must have listened. It is a much improved store now. Drive thru is faster, people are nicer. Much better than it was........
3 years ago I gave this restaurant 5 stars when it was owned by Debray. The team here always went way out of their way to please you. It must have been a fairly good place to work because the staff would stay a while. The owner supported the local schools and you would see the same people routinely.
Now Godlove bought this property. While I love the name, that is definitely not what I am seeing out of this store. Once they messed up an order (no problem, it happens) but when I brought up the issue with the worker he refused to either let me pay for the missing drink or just give me one and told me he was too busy to help me and I would have to go around again. Another time I went inside to place an order and had to wait 15 or 20 minutes to get food.
The most recent interaction, there was a mess up on the order and the only way to fix the issue was to refund. The manager told me he wouldnt refund it and I would have to get it from the app. I called McDonalds' customer service and said the store was the only one who could refund things. They also said they would have Godlove call. That hasn't happened.
All the old staff from the store seem to have disappeared, although not all the new staff are bad. However, the spirit of the store has changed. I am not going back.
Debray, whomever you were, I miss your ownership. Godlove, I wish you would improve the management of this store. I go to your other stores and none of them...
Read moreSo, I take my daughter to grab something for lunch. She placed a mobile order at McDonald's at 6270 Far Hills Ave, Centerville. Instead of having them bring it to our car, she goes inside to grab her order. As she was getting her drink, an employee called out her order number. She turned around and watched another employee literally stick her hand inside my daughter's McDonald's bag, and eat her fries. Another employee yelled at the female, because he also saw her stick her hand in my daughter's bag and eat her food. He came upfront and took the fry out of the bag and went to get her another fry. My daughter confronted the employee and she said that she thought no one was picking that order up. Which is completely untrue because my daughter was standing right there when they called the order number. The employee then walked into the back of the store. I'm disgusted right now. Not only is this extremely unprofessional but, it's as unsanitary as one can get. The employee that stuck her hand in my daughter's bag was the person bringing the mobile orders to the cars outside. So she was not only eating a customers food but, her hands were filthy and contaminated, touching public entry doors. I really hope someone contacts me in regards to this experience. Read moreI placed a mobile order at this McDonald’s expecting a smooth and quick experience, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I arrived first in line at the drive-thru, yet instead of receiving my order, the staff chose to serve cars that placed their orders directly at the drive-thru after me. I was then asked to pull ahead to the third window, where I ended up waiting for at least 10 minutes before my food was brought out. During this time, I watched multiple other cars who ordered after me receive their food and leave.
The entire situation was frustrating because the purpose of mobile ordering is supposed to be convenience and speed. Instead, I felt overlooked and treated unfairly compared to other customers who hadn’t even placed their orders until after I arrived. If there was a delay with my order, I would have appreciated some communication or at least an update, but no one explained the reason for the wait.
This experience made the mobile order option feel pointless and unorganized at this location. I really hope the management takes note and improves the process so customers are served in order and mobile orders are actually...
