So I have been super busy because I work graveyard shift I got off at 7:00 a.m. this morning had to wait till 9:00 a.m. to get paid I went out bought a barbecue grill had my son pick up some groceries and bring them back along his way back home I asked him to stop it with Hawaiian Hut in Central point Oregon to pick up food I'd like mixing my food when I get food from them so I made a simple request I asked my son to ask them to mix it together for me The girl responded that is something you can do at home and then made the food anyways still collected the money from my son and sent him on his way so when he came home he started complaining to me and I looked at him and I told him simply this The company pays you to do a job a customer asked you to do something very simple that's not that time consuming and you're going to get an attitude about it because it might be a little outside of what you would normally do maybe because you're not used to it but the bottom line is this we all work a job where our bosses have asked us to do s* that we did not want to do and we did it anyway because that was what was required so I don't feel like I asked them to do anything outside of the normal scope of customer service and to tell me I could do it myself completely ignore me and send my son home with the food without even attempting to do what I asked them to do was just beyond your approach and the saddest part is I have reviewed this company before and the managers just don't give a damn they don't care because people keep spending their money there they're not being rich off of it I guarantee that but they're making enough money to stay in business apparently so everybody out there keeps giving them their money this is just a company that everybody should stop buying from Make them fill the pain and the hurt from poor customer service no customers no money no money to pay employees no money to keep the company open maybe after a huge loss in customer's profit they might actually make an effort to change the attitudes of...
Read moreI'm traveling a lot now, so I figure that as I am in an area, I would bounce from place to place trying something new every time.
This time, it was some teriyaki from Hawaiian Hut.
I had the Noodle Madness, which is meant to be something like a Yakisoba Chicken. Normally, the Yakisoba doesn't come with rice, since you have a noodle, but this one did. I'm ok with that, but it was different. One thing that I noticed is that the noodles weren't a Yakisoba noodle. It was more like a Spaghettini... so not even Spaghetti... which made the noodles about two sizes too small to be Yakisoba.
The chicken wasn't as plentiful as I would have hoped, but it's obvious that they soak the meat in the teriyaki for a while as the chicken was tender and soaked all the way through. Which changes the consistency of the chicken, but if you like the sauce, it would be a win.
The veggies in the mix were good. Some squash, onion, snow peas, and carrots. Not overly cooked so they weren't soggy at all.
The place was pretty casual. Something I would go to for lunch, and not be formal at all. But dinner might be too casual.
All in all, the food was good on its own. But wasn't very authentic. But again... this is Medford, not Hawaii. So just going by taste, then I recommend it. If you are looking for anything authentic to Hawaii... You might check around more.
Oh... and if management is reading this... teach your staff to say Aloha and Mahalo... it is the "Hawaiian Hut" after all. She was nice and friendly, but the extra touch...
Read moreAbsolutely frustrated with the staff! This place has really great food! However when you do an over the phone order and they tell you 10-15 minutes and you get there within 12 minutes and there is a line full of high school students all ordering food you should definitely have a TO GO line/check out system! I went up to the counter and politely asked if to go orders were somewhere else or if they could check me out real quick (I called 12 minutes ago I am on my lunch break as well) and they guy says nope, you have to get in the back of the line for check out! Wow, so just because I called in an order I am not a customer! I saw my food hanging on the wall along with 3 others! So I go to the back of the line where there was another gal waiting for the same thing! She had to pick up her child and had called her order in as well! So here we stood for 23 minutes as they took all the orders! She spent over 40 dollars in your restaurant! For what, to get cold food! I asked to speak to the manager and so, I finally got to talk to him and he straight up said that’s our process we do not have a to go line. So long story short don’t waste your time calling in TO GO ORDERS! You will have to wait the same amount of time as walking in and waiting! Literally the person who had ordered before us got his food as I was...
