Blue Horse Lounge — Restaurant in Ceres

I've been a regular at Blue Horse Lounge for quite some time, and I've always enjoyed the atmosphere and service. However, my visit yesterday was extremely disappointing due to the behavior of two new staff members, Robyn and Daniela. They were getting drunk with some guys from the barbershop while on the clock, which was highly unprofessional. They were free-pouring all the drinks without any measurement, and by the end of the night, they were visibly plastered.

The bar was in complete disarray, and it took an unreasonable amount of time for them to take my and my sister's order. This was particularly frustrating because it was supposed to be ladies' night, which was the main reason we decided to go. Instead of providing the expected level of service, they seemed to be giving all their attention to the men at the bar.

The whole experience was chaotic and disappointing. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly to ensure it doesn't happen again. The Blue Horse Lounge has always been a great place to unwind, but last night's experience was far from what I've...

I went there for the Monday night pool tournament. The owner shut the tournament down claiming that not enough players were spending money at the bar. He also tried to film players to show that not everyone had a drink in their hands. I guess he forgot that recovering alcoholics like pool too. And that some people who don’t drink play pool too. BUT most were like myself and ordered food and ate before the tournament, so we aren’t eating during it. I myself at least bought two beers every time I went there. Probably every other time bought a pitcher. And I’m just one person. Im just hoping he’ll see the revenue loss next week, because this dude is on another level. He had a good thing goin and killed it, due to his own ignorance on how the players supported his business. There was nothing better for business on a Monday night other than that tournament....

Had a good time at this bar when I got there at 8:30. It was dead when I got there but started to pick up around 9:00,music was good, atmosphere was great, the bartender Angie said she was new, but she was amazing!!! Then out of nowhere, an older lady shows up and starts talking down to the new bartender and tells everyone that they need to leave and can’t order anymore drinks. No last call , no warning. Online it says the bar is open until 12am. I was able to speak with the lady outside ( the one who was belittling Angie the bartender) and she informed, very rudely, that I need to leave, she was told to close the bar. This place is nice and could be something fun, people like the older lady that came and shut it down have very poor customer service and shouldn’t be in the customer...
