Chipoplatay, Chipoodle, Chipotopolay
Parking is a beezy here, with Chipotle sharing a small private lot with Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf & customers improperly parking by Chipotle's entrance, causing a clusterfrick for those trying to back out.
I've been to this location a handful of times, and I don't have any complaints. Well, besides the parking situation. For my most recent visit, I redeemed my free raincheck which Chipotle offered during their closure for food safety meetings. I had my pick of any of their menu items. I chose the steak salad.
Steak salad- Regardless of the authenticity or lack thereof, Chipotle never skimps on portions. Lettuce, corn, heaping amounts of cheese, black beans, medium sauce & vinaigrette on the side. The cubes of steak were a tad tough to my liking, but overall the salad was filling, flavorful & flattering for my hour glass figure.
Service was good. The line went speedily by & I had my free salad in no time. Good amount of seating inside, but as it can get busy, can be hard to come by during prime hours.
Parking is, to reiterate emphatically, an industrial-strength beezy in a private lot. I have parked in the residential area south of Chipotle & hoofed it to save myself the hassle.
Okay, Chipotle! You've received negative press for foodborne illnesses and such, so hopefully with the chain-wide closure for food safety meetings, everything will be up & running in tip-top shape again. While I prefer going to local taquerias, Chipotle does in a pinch when I'm close by & in need of vanquishing my...
Read moreSo this afternoon, I went to this chipotle to go get chips and queso and a burrito bowl. I like chipotle… it’s very healthy, but every chipotle that I’ve ever been to except for the one in Fullerton by Cal State Fullerton…. They are all dirty and nasty. Like they don’t clean up.
The chips that I got for the chips and queso didn’t taste like chipotle‘s handcrafted chips that have a pinch of salt. They tasted like cheap Walmart chips. They were extremely crunchy. Chips and queso alone are $10 for a large. I really wish there was a company to compete with chipotle so myself and other patrons can go elsewhere. You really have to fight with chipotle on everything. They want a nickel and dime you like you’re coming in with double off coupons where the meal is almost free, but everyone is spending $10-$25 for each transaction. Chipotle is making money but the product that we’re getting is subpar in the nastiness of each restaurant with the trash everywhere and food on the tables and on the ground is just gross. I usually get my food to go and eat in my car so I don’t have to eat in...
Read moreHaving been here multiple times, this Chipotle is hit or miss... and it seems to depend on who the workers are at a given time. I have had really good/pleasant experiences here, and I've had the opposite as well. Compared to other Chipotle locations, I would generally say that the ingredients do not seem as fresh. For whatever reason, the meats tend to look/taste on the drier side. I have seen and ordered guacamole that is a brown-ish color. The lettuce often does not look crisp. Again, these things do not happen all the time. However, they happen enough for me to notice and to borderline call it a pattern. Parking can be challenging here, since there are few spots (the parking lot is not just for Chipotle but also for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf customers). This location is not bad enough for me to not return by any means, but I think a few things could be improved. Again, my experiences here tend to...
