Yasai — Restaurant in Cerritos

I experienced extremely bad customer service today at Yasai, Cerritos Towne Center and I won’t be back! Ordered a teriyaki beef bowl which came with salad. At the time I ordered I wasn’t asked as to what salad I would like, so when I went to the counter to collect my order I asked for the oriental salad. At this time, the young female who was supposedly training the new man at the counter roared at me that I should have said what I wanted at the time I placed my order. The thing is, at the time I placed my order I was trying to work out why I hadn’t received the change that I was due which I decided I would just let it go. So after being told off like a child, I decided that I would bring up with the young madam the change discrepancy. She did not offer me reimbursement of my change but once again scolded me for not ordering my salad at the time I placed my order. I give this Japanese Grill 5 stars because the food is really good and they give you alot of food for your money. I kept walking by this Japanese restaurant for years. One time i started watching the place and seen the place was always busy with people. One weekend I had to go to the store and noticed Japanese Grill had along line Nonstop Customer all weekend Saturday nonstop then Sunday the samething nonstop Customer. It was like Damn the food must be Damn good. So i tried Japanese Grill. I can say the food was very tasty and good I mean really good all the other food places around it didn't have Customers going in and out of the Japanese Grill. Maybe 1/4 of the Customers. We've been coming for years and service is becoming terrible. Yesterday, we called to try to order and nobody answered the phone. We went anyway and ordered some items for take-away. First, we tell them that their phone isn't being answered. That was promptly ignored with no response. Food was made and the Filipina gal must have called my number once but it was never heard. After waiting 10 minutes with no other annoucements the manager asks what number we had. We showed the number and the ther gal gives the food with an expressionless face.
