PET HOTEL EXPERIENCE ONLY

My dog is snappy, I know that, but it takes him a few minutes to warm up to you. I told the lady to let him sniff her and stuff and she replied with a "I know we're trained to do that" so I was like cool she knows what I mean. I was filling out papers and I hear my dog snap. They told me that I was making him nervous and that they were going to try taking him to the back to get him to warm up. I was like "okay whatever you need to do". Literally a minute later, they come back saying they can't keep him here because he's being snappy. What I find really interesting is that my dog gets groomed regularly and with multiple groomers at once. The groomers I take him to calm him down and never give up on him so easily. Besides, groomers actually get more intimate with the dogs like nail clipping, anal glands, brushing teeth, ear cleaning, etc and they've always gotten him to cooperate. It was EXTREMELY inconvenient for me because I had to go on a trip and I had to cancel and stay home with my dog all because they didn't even bother to try and befriend my dog. The only reason why I won't give this "service" a one star is because they were very nice at least.

If your pup isn't a diva like mine, I sure it'll all go smoothly. But if your pup is a tough cookie like mine that may require a bit more attention, they won't give them the time and attention he/she will need to make them feel comfortable...

Pet Hotel Experience: I was not happy at all leaving my boxer at this facility. It was my first experience leaving her overnight with anyone other than family. When I picked up my boxer she looked traumatized and literally I feel she was mad at me for leaving her. She walked right past me and went to my daughter who she knows but is not close to. She had pooped on her blanket and toy which she never has accidents at home and when I brought her home I took her for a walk then she ate, drank water, and literally went to her bed and slept. It took her a few days to be herself. She has 2 patches that look like she was bit and hair loss. I asked the manager and she said if she was bit it would have been noted. I paid for her own suite because I knew it would be a scary experience for her away from home. She's a boxer she likes to play but gets along well with other dogs. I doubt very much if I would ever take her to any of these facilities. Horrible experience, I normally don't write reviews but like myself I saw good reviews so I gave it a chance. I think before a person decides to leave their pet they need to know both sides. I would not have put one star but it would not...

Took my dog to get bathed I couldn't get her in even though I had been there before spent 1000's of dollars there. Cause I couldn't remember my moms password to book appt I made a new one figuring I can let them no when I got there. They wanted rabies shots record again regardless after seeing my moms acct. Worker Louis tells me this and so I say I'll fn go get it be back in 10 to 15 max. And he tells me unfortunately I'll be at lunch. It was 1220 appt 1230 and he will be at lunch if I left my dog you would still have gone to lunch so my dog sits there for a hour or longer with a appt at 1230. If you took my dog in you wouldn't be at lunch whole. Petsmart just lost a customer and lots of money as well. Also last time I took my dog in service e was unsatisfactory they didn't trim pads on my dogs feet and it cost even more to go get it done . The guy's name was Jesse. Strike 2 no third your customer service in the store is ok grooming dept sucks. I don't recommend the grooming dept at all. FUNNY I SEE COMMENTS BACK TO SOME REVIEWS BUT NOTHING FOR THESE...
