Kabuki Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cerritos

Really sad and unfortunate experience, we frequent this place a lot because we are locals but this past Sunday that I decided to take my family for a Nice dinner at Kabuki, this time around unfortunately we got as a server Kayle E. She was the most rude waitress I have ever encountered. I ordered a chicken tempura, from which it comes with a side of a salad and a soup I kindly asked Kayle for an spoon and she replied that we were supposed to drink it like that without an spoon. To my believe I didn’t know what to say to that, so I just said okay. And she left. After that since we ordered quite a few plates from the menu. She never once approached us to remove the empty plates or even do a quality check on us to see if we needed anything else. THEN TO TOP IT OFF SHE LITERALLY AS WE ARE STILL EATING SHE DROP THE CHECK NEXT TO THE PILE OF DIRTY PLATES, and walked away. We addressed that to the manager who seems to not care too much, and still has the audacity to say I hope you guys come back and have a different server 🤦🏻‍♂️ … NO THANK YOU...

Came here on Sunday with my family for dinner. My son loves sushi, so we’ve been trying out so many sushi restaurant in Cerritos. This place, the food was ok compared to the others, but the service is very slow. When we were there, not all the tables were filled up. But we have to wait for like 15’ for the next dish. I think they mainly take care of take out.The girl was serving our table is another story, she had a bad attitude. Sometimes, the food was slow, it’s understandable because the kitchen was short of staff and it was not her fault, but at least come explain to the customer. Asked for extra napkins which never came. We waited so long for our dessert that we decided to canceled it and asked for our bill. She came to our table within a minute with our dessert & the bill. She just put it down on our table and walked away with an attitude. We just want a nice dinner. Never planned to come...

By crabs, I meant the the softshell crab appetizer. Crunchy, decadent crab. Could've sworn there was more crab last year. Nevertheless, yummy & delightful. A bit on the oily side, though.

Yellowtail roll. Simple but effective. Sweet, clean-tasting yellowtail in a roll. All those omega-3's turn me on. Smear a lil wasabi on it, along with a soysauce dip - it's a beautiful thing.

I like how soy sauce is now in these waste reducing bottles. Waste not, want not.

Service was good & the ball games were on the TV's. Music was random as I heard everything from KrissKross to Taylor Swift.
