In response to William's reply:
You express surprise that we felt accused of lying, yet your repeated insistence on CCTV footage and staff confirmations says otherwise. By stating that the popcorn chicken was “double checked with our staff members that the popcorn chicken was also packaged” while we clearly didn’t receive it, you’re leaving only two possibilities: either there was an error on your end, or you’re subtly suggesting we’re not telling the truth.
Claiming that you’re “not accusing anyone of lying” while simultaneously implying everything was done correctly on your end is a contradiction that anyone can see.
This attempt to sidestep accountability with carefully chosen words only undermines your credibility further. The facts speak for themselves, and any more deflection won’t change that. We’re not interested in prolonging this discussion, as the inconsistency here is obvious and needs no further explanation.
Back story of this whole experience.
We went inside the restaurant and ordered our food/drinks Togo.
We got 3 drinks, Taiwanese oysters omelet with sauce, popcorn chicken, and spicy bacon fried rice.
Abby, the cashier put in our order. She was the one who also gave us our drinks and food in the bag.
When we got home, we realized (after driving 45 min back home) we didn't get our popcorn chicken order when we opened Togo bag.
Therefore, my boyfriend called the restaurant and spoke to Elyssa. She stated that she'll call the manager and "take care of it" but didn't know exactly what will happen. My boyfriend just asked for a refund of the popcorn chicken since we didn't receive it at all. He asked and offered her if we need to send a picture of the food and receipt. She none was needed.
My boyfriend also emailed the store about this situation in case nothing gets resolved. We quickly got the response of William, the store manager.
(I'll post the email William sent us in the photo section.) He basically called us liars that we did get our full order! He stated he saw in CCTV and called his staff stating that they packed all of our order, including the popcorn chicken.
I don't know where it is in the bag cuz it certainly wasn't in the bag it came in. I really really want to see the CCTV footage and prove to William and his staff that it wasn't packed in the Togo bag that Abby handed to me before I left.
I want to add, in the email back from William, he did state he is going to refund the popcorn chicken but his response in the email was very rude, accusatory, and passive aggressive stating everything was done right on their end but blaming us. (See picture of email).
When we got to go and brought it home, they completely didn't give us our Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken!!! We didn't look and drove off heading home.
We don't live near this area. It took us 45 min to drive here especially to this place cuz we were craving it. We have proof from our receipt that we paid for the popcorn chicken.
We called stating we didn't receive it. Spoke to Elyssa on phone and she will talk to her manager.
We actually asked them to give a refund for it.
Sucks we didn't get what we ordered.
They should have checked our order for us in the first place.
It sucks they closed the Rowland Heights one and I have to drive all the way...
Read moreI've come here once before, but at a different branch. The first time I came, I got the shaved ice and boba, which are wonderful and would recommend.
This time, I came in with my friend and her boyfriend and actually sat down to eat their food. We got the ground pork over rice, spicy beef noodle soup, a fried pork chop and Taiwanese sausage. I really liked the ground pork over rice and the Taiwanese sausage - super simple dishes that I've been eating since childhood and these were definitely great. I also loved how they served the ground pork over rice in a small lunch box. It was so cute and matched the children's classroom theme they were going for. Taiwanese sausage is pretty hard to mess up, and they didn't, so that was great.
My real complaints are with the spicy beef noodle soup and fried pork chop. The spicy beef noodle soup didn't taste spicy at all for me. The noodles were alright, but the beef was just hard. I'm so used to beef noodle soup with extremely soft beef that it practically melts in your mouth, but these expectations were not met with their poor beef quality. The fried pork chop was ok - not really anything special. I did like how they brought side dishes with it. Really enjoyed their bamboo, brocolli, and other vegetables. They even had ground pork over rice as a side, so that was nice.
Service also wasn't the greatest. My friend kept asking for iced water and they didn't deliver it for a while - we had to keep asking. Food did come out rather fast though, so that was nice.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Feel the dishes are a hit or miss. However, don't think you can go wrong coming here...

You stay classy, Class 302.
I had Mother's Day lunch w/ family at our usual local Chinese food spot & decided we needed something cold & sweet on this hot day. I've read reviews & heard all the hubbub about Class 302, so why not stop by for some shaved snow?
How cute! The entire restaurant is decorated like.........wait for it..........a classroom!
Over at the front, the to go line & the line to be seated combine to make one big clusterfrick. Not that much space to manuever while you're ordering/waiting to be seated.
Perusing Class 302's shaved snow selections, I went all in with the Honey Boba to go- Frozen deliciousness! I greatly appreciated how the syrup & boba were on the side, to adjust the sweetness to taste. The snow was creamy, paired to perfection with large slabs of honey & grass jelly. Large portion for not too much scratch. As usual, I ended up finishing most of it. So perfect on this hot Mother's Day.
Seating is minimal but sufficient, w/ both indoor & outdoor seating. I noticed the stools & chairs lacked padding. C'mon, 302! Most Americans like me already have lots of "padding" on our badonkadonks, but we still want to sit comfortably while we eat ;P
I thoroughly enjoyed my Honey Boba Shaved Snow. I found ordering at the front to be a hot mess w/ people in the to go line & waiting to be seated all jammed into one area. Also, I recommend the proprietors spend a few bucks for chair pads for all the stools & chairs.
I definitely will come back to try Class 302's other offerings, savory &...
