I had a dangerous and disappointing experience at P.F. Chang’s in Cerritos on February 7, 2025, due to negligence and lack of accountability from the staff. My mother and I sat at the bar for happy hour and ordered two margaritas and two appetizers, one of which was the crab wontons. The menu described them as having a “creamy crab filling”, but it did not specify whether the crab was real or imitation. Since crab wontons are typically made with imitation crab, I made sure to ask our server directly if they contained real or imitation crab. I made him aware that I have an allergy and he assured me twice that they were made with imitation crab.Trusting his word, I ate them. My mother, still skeptical based on the texture, later flagged down the manager and asked the same question. Shockingly, even the manager didn’t know and had to check with the chef before confirming that the dish does, in fact, contain real crab. By this point, I had already consumed it and began experiencing a reaction. Thankfully, I was able to prevent it from escalating, but this situation could have been life-threatening. Instead of apologizing or showing concern, the manager blamed me, saying I should have “read the menu” and that people with allergies should avoid ordering certain foods altogether. The problem wasn’t the menu—it was the fact that their server gave me false information—not once, but twice. Even the manager wasn’t sure of the ingredients, proving that staff are not properly trained on allergens or ingredients in their own menu items. What’s worse is that this is not an isolated incident. I found a review from two years ago where another customer at this same location also had a food allergy issue that was mishandled by the manager. This shows that allergy safety is a recurring problem here, and nothing has been done to address it. Food allergies are not a joke. Staff should be properly trained on ingredients and allergy protocols to prevent dangerous mistakes like this. I will never dine here again and strongly urge management to take food safety more seriously.

Me and my family went for Mother’s Day and what I expected to be a nice Mother’s Day dinner was the complete opposite. It started by me calling in twice, the First Lady that answered the phone said they weren’t taking reservations untill after 9 so I hung up to ask my family about it first to see if that time is okay with them and when I called back to make a reservation a man answered and said he can do a reservation for 8? Not sure why the First Lady said that but whatever Upon getting there At first things were fine untill the food came out and the waiter had to take back a plate of food due to a hair he had seen and i understand this happens sometimes but the fact that we saw this women with extremely long hair just freely walking around in the kitchen along with many others explained it so well! But I wish hair was the only problem. Towards the end of the night the chefs in the back were literally screaming and it sounded like there was a fight going on in the kitchen but when we looked everyone seemed fine and it seemed like they were joking and messing around. my mother even asked the waitress about it and she dismissed it saying “oh yeah they get like that at the end of the night haha” A man’s loud voice from the kitchen screaming the F word I’ve never experienced this in a restaurant before in my life I never though I would experience this from a PF Chang’s

First timers there, my parents, son & I, we were there a quarter to 4 p.m. we asked the host to be seated on a booth even when it was clear there were a couple of booths available (because it wasn't crowded) she told us we had to wait. So, she made us wait close to 20 minutes. Once seated a waitress approached us only to tell us that someone would be right over to take our order. Waited another 10 minutes before the waitress weighing our table finally came to ask if we wanted to order drinks, we went ahead placed our orders includingpur drinks; chinese chicken salad, shrimp tempura bowl with rice and green beans, crunch sushi rolls and a plate of salmon with sauteed in spinach & mushrooms. The Sangria wasn't refreshing or satisfying it tasted old. Food was meh, ok, the salad had dark pieces of mango that didn't make it too appetizing...the waiting around was too much as it wasn't crowded and both my son and noticed another table's order came before ours, funny thing they walked in 10 minutes after we sat in our table. We paid a little over $100 guess that wasn't enough to have had decent timing in our service. Our waitress was friendly and the place looks nice though. I won't go back.

Love PF Chang’s. I really like that this one is in the mall, yet it’s kind of tucked away. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. The hostess ladies were professional and nice (most places where you go they are talking amongst themselves, rather than taking care of the customers). Our server James was awesome!! Very nice guy and answered all of my questions about the menu items. He kept us informed on when our food would arrive and also how the food was tasting when received. It was pretty good (not too hot, which is a good thing). The ambiance was very nice. It had a lounge feel to it. The decor was very modern and beautiful. It was also a clean establishment, which is very important when dining out. They do have outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly. So no one was out there at the moment. But it will definitely be nice to sit out there and enjoy your cocktails and food around springtime. The only thing is, we didn’t get any fortune cookies. Other than that, everything was great.

My wife and myself decided to go out to P.F. Chang’s in Cerritos, California. We were weary about it because some restaurants have changed after Covid. We looked around the restaurant and saw many Vacant tables . That’s when I seen a welcoming face Alfonso the bartender had welcomed me to the counter and explain to me what the specials were for happy hour. Between him and his bar back Frankie, they enhanced our dining experience. When we got home, my wife smiled and said hey let’s go back to P.F. Chang’s. The customer service. There is really good. If my wife is happy, I’m happy thank you so much Alfonso and Frankie. We will be back soon. Other restaurants are ‘not like us ‘in Southern California. There’s so many restaurants in Los Angeles, that each one of them have to do something to stand out. And P.F. Chang’s did that!
