Pressed, I just wasn't impressed.

I happened to find someone mentioning Pressed Cerritos' Happy Hour bowls. And, being a High 80 degree summer day, it seemed a refreshing smoothie bowl was what was in order.

Pressed has 3 plant-based smoothie bowls on the their menu - Original, Superfood & Power. Each comes w/ preset toppings, w/ extra toppings 50 cent each. The selection of toppings is limited, compared to acai bowl shops, nearby.

Superfood plant-based smoothie bowl (acai/dragonfruit base mix)- Banana, coconut chips, goji berries, blueberries & agave syrup. The bowl looked so enticing as I sat down to eat, yet with the first spoonful, I found disappointment. The acai/dragonfruit base was runny, as if the machine didn't freeze long enough. I asked why my smoothie bowl was runny, as was told that's the way it is, because it's non-dairy. Now, I've had my fair share of acai bowls, and I've never had one be the slightest bit runny. Almost on the verge of asking for a refund, I was hungry and decided to finish my abysmal bowl, relieved I only spent the Happy Hour price of $5+.

Service was fine. I was helped right away and received my order promptly. Pressed is located next to California Pizza Kitchen, adjacent to the Nordstrom wing of Los Cerritos Center.

50% off is great, but not when the end product is a sad facsimile of what I was expecting to get. The runny, watery Superfood bowl was a complete buzzkill, and I'd rather pay more for an acai/dragonfruit bowl from tried & true shops that have a more expansive topping selection and know how to freeze their bases to the correct consistency.

Horrible - Never Again!!!!.......Tried twice to order through Uber Eats a super-sized acai bowl, both times the order was immediately canceled with no explanation, so yep, tried calling the store, same old automated recordings and like the previous reviewer stated, absolutely NO ANSWER. You guys must not want customers so I can accommodate that and will not attempt again. Moving on somewhere that I can actually...

Absolutely floored that there is no mechanism to call a store or obtain a live person. If you call, you will be greeted by a 100% automated system that does not allow you to speak with a live person.
