I have been a Panini Kabob fan for a while. I was in the area and decided to check out this location which turned into a disappointment. Just as I arrived, it took a while to get a waiter to take our order. I decided to use the restroom while my party and I continued to wait, but that also turned into a waiting game. I noticed they had an all-genders single restroom and a women's multi stall restroom. The issue came up after waiting 10 minutes because it was locked and no one was coming out all while many female guests kept walking past me using the women's labelled gender restroom. I felt extremely embarrassed that I had to ask an employee if they had a staff's inclusive or male labeled restroom that I could use because it was an emergency after waiting for a long time. They brought the manager and she didn't seem to be bothered. I had to ask if she could block the door so I could use the women's labelled restroom unless they had a service restroom that wouldn't get me cancelled or create a problem with people watching. I shared that although they are trying to have "good intentions" towards inclusion, their decision actually makes it bad for someone. I shared they should just make the other restroom all gender so that anyone can just use it. She seemed unconcerned and she just walked away.
After returning with my party, they still had not been attended by someone. It took forever to get our order to be taken, to receive our food, and to even get our check. A dinner that could have been an hour or less like at other locations I frequent turned into almost 2 hours from just waiting around. All this happy during a slow service time before the evening Friday rush. Definitely recommend visiting another location if you are looking for attentive staff and actual equitable access...
Read moreCame here with a couple friends and we enjoyed the food very much. The waiters were very kind and patient — when we came it was around 6 in the evening but they told us to wait because they had to seat a couple parties before us. It wouldn’t be long — but we waited for 20 ish minutes and assumed they were understaffed. When it was our turn, we were already ready to order - we got the hummus trio, (appetizer / house specialty), the charbroiled ABF chicken sish kabob and the beef kabob under it in the menu. The portions were HUGE, definitely consider sharing family style. The food wait was really long - probably about half and hour and maybe more - so it seems like they’re understaffed. The food was all really good, the hummus and pita bread, the chicken kabob was delicious and the basmati rice that came with it was pretty flavorful and the salad on the side was a good add on. The beef kabob wasn’t bad but it came out cold and seemingly undercooked. We were confused because we thought it was suppose to be warm and grilled but the insides were cold and slightly pink - maybe they cooked it earlier and left it out and forgot to bring it to us sooner? My friend asked for it to be heated and the waiter was super kind and brought us new ones out. Honestly, the employees were really kind and the food was delicious so it’s four stars for us — I can see why ratings might fall because of the long food wait or the little mishap with the beef but overall I would recommend panini kabob grill as a place to get Mediterranean food!! It’s also located in a nice plaza with a ton of other restaurants and dessert places. Come here if you’re deciding what to eat for lunch and dinner and if you’re group is indecisive - you won’t...
Read moreTried this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and it was ok. The service was good so we decided to give it another try. We went in for lunch and definitely made up our mind.
The server came over and wasn't very friendly and seemed distracted. I felt terrible for him when he let us know he was being sent home so there would be someone else taking care of us. Nothing says happy holidays like losing out on a day's pay, not to mention what he had to deal with before he was sent home!
The highlight of our meal was being served raw chicken. Two orders of chicken kabobs and when we cut into them they were both raw. We told the young lady that brought our food and she hurried the plates back to the kitchen. The server came over and apologized while we sat there with our dirty appetizer plates for the next 30 minutes. We had to ask for them to clear the used dishes and trash. They took our silverware and we had to ask for more. When they returned with our meals the chunks of chicken were torn in half to make sure they were cooked. If your restaurant specializes in cooking chicken there should at least be a cook that knows how to cook chicken. If you don't know how, use a thermometer... and if you need to see the inside of the chicken use a knife.
At minimum we expected the manager to check in with us; not a chance. We had to ask for the check after we paid we were walking out and the manager was standing at the exit. She just looked away when we approached. Great leadership!!! Now I know why the cook has no standards and the employees were unhappy.
There are a lot better options in the area and I would rather spend my money there. Go to Kabob Crush down the street, you'll...
