Don’t waste your time. Went with a friend and was told we can sit in high top seating to wait for a table. After 20 minutes of waiting we are told that a table is being cleaned off and we are next up to be seated. After being excited that a table is ready, manager or host in forest green polo asks us to move down one spot for a larger party and we kindly do since we think we’re about to go to the table anyways. 25+ minutes go by and we are not grabbed for this alleged table. What made everything comically worse is the party we moved for was unhappy with their seating (4 people should not be sat at their high tops there isn’t even remotely enough room) they recognized their waitress by the guests daughter being acquaintances and she quickly got them a table in her section and they were moved to an actual table. The table beside us also noticed this happen and complained to the hostess. Really made it look like their waitlist was nonexistent if myself and anyone else on the waitlist was so blatantly pushed to the side due to connections. After about another 15 or so minutes, watching green polo avoid our area because he knew he told a lie, we decided to walk out and eat down the street. Mind you, it is hours later and we still never received a text saying a table is ready. As patient and understanding people, their customer service was a joke, teach your wait staff not to play favorites and teach your manager not to unnecessarily lie. We will not...
Read moreWent there last night with a party three. There was a wait & we put our name and phone number on the list around 7 PM. Went to another place in chagrin to wait until our table was ready while we had a drink. 815 came around still no call or text! We are staving at this point. There is no phone number listed anywhere online for the restaurant. We are able to find it through the link that was given to us when we put our name in at the restaurant. We attempted to call the restaurant on our walk back, but the line rings and rings off the hook…. We get back and ask what happened the host tells us “we haven’t had food all day so we canceled all future reservations”. Very confusing, considering they did not inform us of this when we first put our name in at the restaurant and there were people still sitting in the restaurant very obviously with food in front of them… I don’t know if the restaurant ran out of food or had some kind of kitchen emergency, but I found it very unprofessional to cancel reservations, not reach out and then offer an clear lie as a reason why…...
Read moreBring back the backyard! We were very disappointed in our experience. The change has not been good. The menu has become very limited, and the portion sizes were extremely small. We miss the ribs. There has not been a good place to get ribs in Chagrin Falls since. Rick‘s Café closed. We had the burrata for an appetizer. I have never seen such a small portion size before. It definitely was not enough to share for three people. My husband had the salmon once again, a very small piece. My daughter had the chicken skewer when it was JoJo‘s backyard. You used to get such a large amount of chicken. This was barely enough even for an appetizer for one. I had the snapper it was on the dry side. The place was very busy. It is such a lovely patio. However, we probably will not venture back again unless some changes are made. We will just stick with JoJo‘s.
