M Bevy — Restaurant in Chagrin Falls

M Bevy is a cute and intimate place complete with modern decor, a center island bar, high tables, and couch/chair seating. The drinks are good and moderately priced. The atmosphere is relaxing with dim lighting (perfect for a date night). My fiancée and I visited on a Friday night after dinner to have a cocktail, it was fabulous. The service was quick and pleasant, he gave us suggestions on the drinks which were on target. I had the Moscow martini in a cooper martini glass (a 1st for me and I have had a lot of Moscow mules). The Moscow mule was perfect and seemed to have a great volume of contents in the glass. My fiancée had the Black and Blue which was recommended by our server; he loved it. It was on the sweeter side but very delicious and had great presentation. There was a pool table and intimate seating area by the fire place in the back and would be great for a double date or a small group of friends grabbing a drink. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because every time someone would come in or leave out of the front door it would stay cracked and the cold air would come in. My fiancée and some other people repeatedly kept going over to shut the door due to the cold weather. This wouldn’t have been a problem if it were warm outside but it wasn’t so it was quite annoying. Horrible service!! Went here to enjoy a cocktail on the evening of our anniversary. There were only 12 people at this bar when we arrived and 2 bartenders were working. Stood at the bar for over 10 minutes before being acknowledged! It's like we were invisible. Then we were were finally acknowledged, we were told there were 3 ppl ahead of us. It took an insanely long amount of time to make those 3 drinks. We watched in amazement at the bartenders wandered around pretending to be busy without actually making any drinks or eye contact. It took 20 minutes from the time we approached the bar to the time we got our drinks. That is crazy, and no way to run a business. The worst part was that a group of locals walked up, long after we did, ordered 6 drinks and had them served to them (by the other bartender) before we got ours. Go here if you like...

Visited this place on Sunday. I been to this place many of times but Sunday was different. We entered the bar around 10pm spoke to the bartender who didn’t seem to thrilled to have us there. The bartender served us drinks and never spoke to us again. When it was time to check on everyone that was at the bar to see how they were doing he had conversations with them even laughed and joked with others but when it came time for him to come around to us he blatantly looked at us and skipped over us and went to another couple that was seating 2 seats over from us.
