Evergreen Bakery — Restaurant in Chagrin Falls

Stopped at this bakery while in town to visit relatives. Decided to stop in and see what was offered and when we opened the door was meet with the most wonderful fresh baked bread smell. We purchased a loaf of Cinnamon raisin bread and a loaf of Baguette. The owner graciously offered to slice our loaf of Cinnamon bread. We also purchased a piece of zucchini bread which we ate in the car. Oh my!! We ate the baguette for dinner, the crust was crunchy and the interior was perfect. Evergreen is a true gem and as someone who is not an Ohio native and has traveled plenty, this is hands down one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Actually, THE best in America for sure. I love their take on implementing seasonal ingredients. Whether it's savory or sweet, everything is amazing. Their fresh baked sourdough is delicious (any kind) as well as the ciabbatta. My husband stopped in to get pastries and they did not disappoint. They were all amazing but the stars of the show for me were the pain au chocolat and the (enormous, somehow not sickeningly sweet) cinnamon roll. Perfection. So happy to have a bakery in town!
