Cousins maine lobster — Restaurant in Chalfont

We love Maine lobster so we were fans of Cousins, Maine Lobster until recently. The last few visits the Lobster was mushy and smelled fishy just was not the same as we were used to getting. My recommendation would be if it smells fishy when you open the bag give it back to them. It’s old. Fresh lobster will not smell fishy!! We also purchased a lobster roll kit at one location when it was $25 off, the initial charge was $25 off but after a day the charge on my credit card did not reflect the discount after numerous calls trying to get our $25 back. I stopped by the truck when it was on Street Rd in Warminster. I always get a lobster roll and a lobster bisque soup which as usual was delicious. This time I also got shrimp tacos. The tacos were plentiful and tasted good but the shrimp were just that shrimpy. They were smaller than salad shrimp and very disappointing. If you can not afford to put plump juicy shrimp, like your lobster into your tacos then maybe it should not be on your menu. It's rather disgraceful to be honest. The other thing that is just bad business if charging $3 for a small bottle of water and $3.50 for a 12oz can of coke, that's just outrageous. I gave three stars because the food is decent but the prices have gotten a bit out of hand. I feel that they have now taken advantage of loyal paying customers by overpricing. For 3 items you can spend 60$+ easily. I will not be returning because I believe taking advantage of people in an already over priced economy is outrageous.
