Wow, I can't believe it's taken me this long to get to this place. Went in for brunch on this fine Sunday and the place was PACKED. And for good reason. I had the breakfast sandwich which had a fried egg, bacon, sausage, and hash brown topped with a maple aioli all sitting on a Martin's Potato Roll. Banging. Btw, you go up to the counter and order, they don't come to you. Once ordered they'll give you a number and bring you your meal when ready. The place had so much depth to it. We sat in the offshoot dining area just outside the main dining area due to a large party. They were constantly checking on us. Beside us was more of a game / chill room, and both were off to the side to the busier main room where the bar is. Outside was a beautiful patio area with a good amount of seating. When walking around, we saw a bus of people getting ready to take off. Apparently they have a group membership where there's a waiting list and one of the benefits is taking a bus tour of trying different beers and breweries. Further out from there was a completely separate area that was meant for more of an outing or gathering. There were chairs and benches all surrounding a stage. They have signs up all over the place for musical schedules and performances. Just beside the stage looked like a big gardening area. I was told the gearhouse brewery apparently grows their own hops. Overall, just an awesome experience and will come back.

Unbelievably awesome food AND beer! I couldn't believe the Google rating was 4.6 for here! We ordered a flight of beer (2, 3, 5, 6, 8, & 10) which we really enjoyed. My favorite was Sly Fox Helles Gold (#2). Hubby's was Ginary (#6). Not sure why people are commenting that the beer tastes "watered down" & "bland" because it is some of the best beer I've ever had (and we visit BREWERIES & TASTINGS ALL THE TIME 😂🍻). They all had a crisp, clean mouth feel without any nasty, lingering aftertastes. It was great to be able to watch the beer being made through the viewing windows as we ate & drank. The atmosphere is super cool & laid back vibey. They have tons of stuff for kids to do which is fantastic and uber smart (they even have Galaga!). For food, we enjoyed the porkbelly steamed buns (lost my mind a bit groaning in delight over these!), York city soft pretzels (I love me some good soft pretzels! These were right up there with the best!), classic double for the kiddo (tasted it! Best burger I've had in a long time!), Luxe de Boeuf for the hubby (I tasted it, of course, & it was AMAZEBALLS), & the Hot Chicken (yum yum yum & MORE YUM 😍😋). In conclusion, if you enjoy super tasty beer, amazing food, & a laid back, comfy atmosphere, TRY IT OUT!

We stopped in on a Saturday evening for live music. There was a pretty decent crowd when we arrived but we didn’t wait long to order food or drink. It’s seat-yourself so you order at the bar then go find a seat. If you order food too they will give you a table number and come find you. We tried a couple IPAs and two ales. The beer was good. We ordered a chicken bite special and shrimp tacos. I didn’t realize until we were half done eating the chicken that it wasn’t the special, but the regular menu item. It was loud when we ordered, the cashier probably just misheard what version we wanted. Not a big deal. It was still good. The tacos were ok. They were a bit skimpy on the shrimp and I’m judging that based on what ours looked like versus another tray we saw the server carrying. We ate them anyway. The band was very good. They were set up in the back of the building in the listening room area. The atmosphere was upbeat and casual. I’d go again to see another band sometime.

Always a good time going here. I went to check out the live band playing outside and was impressed with the set up of picnic tables and beautiful well kept outdoor space. I really loved seeing the hops growing for the beers they make! I think the staff were lovely and informative. I have eaten here in the past and thought thier food was delicious. Love that there's a place to go comfortably to see live bands. I look forward to going to their October fest this coming fall! Definitely awesome soft pretzel and German sausage on the face of this planet! Definitely go there!

Here I am a few years later and wasn't happy. We weren't thrilled about ordering at the bar but we were like what ever let's just get a seat because we like the beer and the food is okay. Even though it was a busy Saturday, there were several tables available but we're full of dishes, food scraps on the tables, chairs and floors. I kindly asked if someone could please clean a table for us and got an answer of the busser will be there in a few minutes. With children running around and trash everywhere, we decided to leave. I enjoyed it better when they have outside events anyway. Still want to return because of that. Something's gotta be done about service and a nasty dining...
