Odd experience- manager? (blue eyeliner)called me RUDE for accidentally paying for someone else order. LOL (Regarding store 49207-265791). I picked up a mobile order through drive through.
I told the drive thru speaker I have a mobile order and like usual, they tell me to pull around then hand me the items and I’m gone.
However, the young lady at the window asked me to pay. ( I already stated I was here for a mobile order through the drive through). I used rewards to pay, so I figured maybe the Starbucks app didnt go through? I don’t know, electronic stuff can be weird. I just stuck my phone/starbucks code app out the window because I ASSUMED the app hadn’t worked properly. I had NO idea the drive thru girl was asking me to pay for someone else’s order.
Anyway, when she handed me food items (instead of my drink), I realized that the order was actually not mine. Again, It was NOT a big deal, I said, omg I’m sorry this isn’t mine, I thought the app hadn’t paid for it beforehand, but now I realized that must be someone else’s order.
I said I was sorry because I thought it was because my rewards didn’t go through as normal or something. You know how electronic stuff goes, it’s not infrequent for computers to have errors!!
Manager (blue eyeliner lady) acted like I did something on purpose. So it literally was an honest mistake, no big deal. I definitely did NOT think the manager was going to patronize me on how to order and I should have said mobile pick up. I was like, I already DID say that in the drive. I even tried to lighten the mood to make it more my fault (because the other poor young girl seemed scared of the blue eyeliner manager lol) and I said, hey, you know what, I was distracted too because I had been on the phone with a doctor earlier dealing with some medication problems ( I WAS NOT ON THE PHONE IN THE DRIVE THRU)
Manager states I’m RUDE for being on the phone, and I was like hol up I wasn’t ON THE PHONE, I was just saying I had other things on my mind it’s ALL GOOD LADY like what are we getting froggy for?! She doesn’t even listen to me and says I’m “RUDE” and I should have said mobile order at the drive thru.
We both shared awkward smiles as I departed. I drove away and then got mad and made this...
Read moreExtremely Rude drive thru. I ordered a caramel brulée with extra caramel crumble pieces on top. They didn’t have any crumble pieces at all. Ok. During my time waiting to get to the window i figured i just get some caramel drizzle on top. (I KNOW y’all CHARGE for it) BEFORE I EVEN HANDED MY CARD OVER to the lady I said please tell them to put caramel drizzle on top. She said ok let me tell them she grabs my card and proceeded to charge me while letting them know at the same time. A female worker comes over gives my drink to the women at the window taking money and says you need to tell them… and i couldn’t hear well cause obviously I’m outside. I asked her what did she just say to you. So she had the other women repeat herself. She goes (RUDELY) TELL HER SHE NEEDS TO ASK FOR THAT AT THE SPEAKER CAUSE WE CHARGE FOR THAT. FIRST OF ALL i told the money taker before i even gave her my card that i wanted that. Even if i said it at the window she could have still charged me. It is not my fault this women has bad communication skills with you MA’AM! Secondly YALL DONT HAVE THE CARAMEL PIECES THAT GO ON TOP ANY WAYS. Where is your customer service skills at and just say hey we don’t have a certain item that GOES with your drink so let me not make a BIG DEAL and throw some caramel drizzle on it! But no, i the customer get all the ATTITUDE because your coworkers mistake. FIX THAT NASTY ATTITUDE! IF YOU DONT WANNA WORK HERE THEN JUST SAY THAT AND FIND A DIFFERENT JOB. No one likes a hostile work environment! And you clearly know how to make one! I called a million times so i can speak to the manager but no one cares to pick up the phone. So here’s your review. It should...
Read moreDear Starbucks,
I am writing to share my disappointing experience at your Brookhaven location. I am not someone who typically writes reviews. As a regular customer who always orders a triple espresso with two pumps of white mocha and filled to the top with oat milk, I was shocked by the rude and unprofessional treatment I received during my recent visit. At 11:14 on 3/27/2025
The cashier, a Black girl, was exceptionally respectful and had no issues with my order. However, after receiving my drink, I noticed it was only half full. Considering Starbucks always has oat milk available at the condiment counter, it made no sense that the barista and the rest of the staff reacted negatively when I simply asked for my drink to be filled to the top, as is customary for me. She expressed that it would be a latte if it were filled to the top which is incorrect information as looking over Starbucks policy.
I returned to the register to politely ask for my drink to be corrected, but the white girl who handed me the drink back did so in a rude and dismissive manner. I felt the entire exchange was hostile and uncomfortable. She expressed Despite this, I remained calm and proceeded to the condiment counter to add my own oat milk to the top of the drink.
I am disappointed in the way I was treated and the lack of professionalism from the staff. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way the situation was handled, with a lack of courtesy and respect, was unacceptable. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that future customers do not experience the same level of poor service.
Thank you for your attention to this...
