I booked the queens tea party for my sisters bridal shower. So lets start off with the food. the food was pretty good. however, there were several members of the party that put their allergies on the reservation, it seemed like the owner did not even look at that. my cousin was allergic to fish but salmon was on all the platers and the only thing they brought her out (after we asked) was some prosciutto. I and 3 of my other guests are allergic to peanuts and we put that on the reservation and they still put peanuts on every single charcuterie board they brought out. so if you have a very severe allergy, be very very careful. there was a lovely selection of cheeses and vegetables on the charcuterie boards. there was also prosciutto, salami, smoked salmon, breadsticks, and grapes. They also had this wonderful passionfruit and strawberry juice was delicious. the presentation of the boards were very beautiful and the tables were beautifully set/decorated. for service, Michele was great, she did her absolute best to accommodate us and serve us in a timely manner. the charcuterie boards weren't made ahead of time. we had to wait an extra 5 minutes for one and an extra 10 for the other. the owner was there but she didn't seem like she was much help. she disappeared off in the back and didn't come back out until we were about to leave so Michele was the only server (for 17 ppl). while i understand that it is hard to serve 17 ppl by yourself it was still very slow on the tea service. there should have been at least 2 servers for a tea service with that many people. At the beginning I arrived about 15-20 minutes early to make sure everything was in place and put up a banner. i was hardly greeted by the owner. I asked her where i could place the banner, she showed me where i could place it and offered her help. she then knotted the banner and when we were discussed repositioning it and she realized she could not undo the tie, she didn't tell me she just dropped her side of the banner and walked away saying "i have other stuff to do" and disappeared. she was not appropriately dressed either, she did not seem professional at all. even when it was time to settle the bill she was nowhere in sight. I am glad they had separate QR codes for tip, because i did not want to tip her at all. the atmosphere was quite nice, it was very cute on the inside, i did think it was going to be a bit bigger though. i would say 15-17 is the max amount of ppl who can comfortable fit in that space. the outside was really cute for pictures and there is free street parking for 2 hrs outside of the building. once again the place was very beautiful. this is NOT a high tea house, so not expect that. if you are looking for a cute spot with your girls this is good place, if you are looking for a high tea then this is not the place for you. i was looking...
Read moreAt first glance I was excited, I booked here for my daughters 3rd bday party. They offer a kids party package. I was mislead. The package was supposed to include juice boxes, goodie bags, light bites and a birthday gift. Thats what was advertised. However all we recieved was a communion size amount of juice for the kids and the light bites and champagne that wasn't advertised or asked for. They also moved locations without notifying me. When I booked the party no one reached out to confirm, I had to request a call. Finally someone who didn't identify themselves called and tried to answer questions she didn't have the answers to. I told her I had a party of 26 people and I was told it would be a $25 charge for everyone outside of the 10 people. I was ok with that. Im so happy some people cancelled because I didn't know nor was I told that they had moved to a smaller location. My guest wouldn't have been able to fit comfortably. I had a guest arrive late and after we asked the the chubby light skinned lady who didn't identify herself either, could we have 15 more mins she got rude and told us that we had already stayed past our time and that it was time to go. I had no issue with leaving but if you wanna go by the book and the website, let's do everything that way. I was expecting the party package that was described online. We had already paid for the late guest so we wanted to at least cut them a slice of cake. The chubby light skinned lady also tried to over charge me for my late guest $55 when online it says $25 and when I told her that's not what was confirmed via the phone call she couldn't tell me who I spoke with. This whole thing was a big disappointment. It was pretty but that was about it. They were unorganized and although I appreciate her giving a lil extra time I would've been ok with leaving on time had I gotten what I thought I was paying for. As we packed up to leave I offered everyone cake, the two younger servers accepted the olive branch but the chubby light skinned woman refused with an attitude. She also told my guest that they ha to leave when they were taking last min photos trying to capture at least our moneys worth of pics. I was told someone would reach out to rectify the situation. No one has as of yet and it has been 4 days. Had everything had gone as described I would've enjoyed our experience, unfortunately that didn't happen. I should've known better when booking cause the website was just as janky as...
Read moreGrab your friends, your significant other, or your kids and head on over to Atlantic Station to experience this amazing Pop up!
Parking:it’s free for the first two hours in the Atlantic Station garage. The website notes: “Park on P1or P2 by elevator #5, come up to street level and we're across the street”. My suggestion is to follow the signs in the garage for Publix and look for the neon green signs to find elevator 5.
Location: Next to Publix in Atlantic Station. You can’t miss it. It’s the one with a pink backdrop, a pink bike and of course a pink carpet!! Be sure to walk the pink carpet for the gram!
The experience: This is all about the photo opportunity! When my sister told me about the Pop-up and that we were going I immediately started putting an outfit together. It’s a reason to not only get dressed up, but to be extra dressed up! I mean go all out! Grab a fancy hat, gloves, a nice dress and some heels! However, do note that there is not a set dress code. You are able to come as you are and still have a great time. The ambiance of this place is very feminine. Think floral, garden, swings, phone booth, fancy chandeliers. The perfect photo up will be found at this pop- up!
The food: The food is on par with the theme. It’s a tea party, so think small desserts and small bites. Our tray of sweets was both beautiful and delicious! My favorite was the unicorn popcorn. I could eat an entire bag of that stuff! There is something for everyone on the tray, shortbread cookies, chocolate, cheesecake etc. the tray is full and you may not be able to finish it all up, but no worries- you can take a to go bag and finish the treats later!
The drinks: You will have an opportunity to enjoy a fresh pot of tea. I mean it is a tea party! However, this is not your granny’s tea party! As such, you will also have an opportunity to indulge in champagne drinks. They also offer mock tails for those that don’t drink alcoholic beverages.
The service: I intentionally saved this for last. The owner of this pop up is amazing! I truly felt like I have know her for years. Not only is she personable, but she made sure that everything was perfect! Kudos in order for killing the assignment!
Conclusion: This experience should be on your to- do list! It will not be in Atlanta forever. Don’t miss your opportunity to experience The...
