A bit disappointed about my experience at k-bowl. Ordered chicken katsu with curry (11.99) and shrimp w/ vegetable tempura (7.49).
The positives: Tempura was a solid 5/5. Nice crisp, flavor was great and was splendid with the dipping sauce. Worth it!
The negatives: curry with katsu. A 1/5. Firstly they give rice enough for 3 people to eat but the accompaniments of a thin breaded chicken cutlet and small bowl of gravy is so meager in comparison. I was done with the chicken in 5 bites and was just left with a heap of rice with a little bit of gravy. I honestly think they can sell it for a fraction of the cost like 8 at most because the gravy was nothing special and the chicken was so thin and small. The only redeeming thing about this dish is the crispness of the chicken.
