Always expect a wait because people are always eating here. Food is made to order as you order. Menu is small but not limiting. Staff is friendly, so are the customers, and anyone will talk to everyone.

Park anywhere on the street and check if you need to feed the meter, and stick on a little more, if you are going to sit and wait for service. There is a bar service across from the grill. The tables and chairs are wire and movable to accommodate as needed.

Staff is non-stop busy but friendly.

You got questions, they got answers, or the person next to you will have it. Dietary restrictions accomodations are available but realize it's one grill with one cook and everything is cooked on it.

Eat there once or twice to enjoy, come back again to be a regular, enjoy the food and atmosphere for one of the tucked out of the way, limited hours, mostly morning diner.

And don't forget...

So apparently a simply request of crispy hashbrowns with LESS oil (than the previous side) is too tall of an order for the chef. When our waiter whom was very kind, went to tell the chef about this request, the chef literally hollered "Crispy hashbrowns with NO oil doesn't work" just overly upset about a small request which by the way I had only said LESS! The whole place heard that, wether they were paying attention or not. I was at the farthest table from the cook which is by the entrance and heard it loud and clear. Bottom line is, it made me feel so embarrassed, I couldn't finish the food. I paid my ticket and will...

This was our very first time eating from Sam's. I was a little nervous bc I wasn't sure what to expect, but the moment we walked out you could feel the friendly vibes. The food was so much better than I expected. I wish I could've given them a 10 star review. We got the French toast and the double cheeseburger and by far the best in town for both. French toast were so delicious, fluffy and sweet. Never tasted something so yummy. The cheeseburger was specially seasoned, juicy and bursting with flavor. We have been talking about this place to everyone we know. You will not be disappointed. We cannot...

Excellent breakfast spot, the prices are very fair and the food is great! The French toast was the highlight of the visit - the toast is cooked with a batter and dusted sugar. Truly amazing. The biscuits and gravy were good but the hash browns were a bit oily. Everything was great overall. Note that the establishment only accepts cash. Definitely plan to be back!

Nothing fancy about this place, but the food was awesome. Gus' Famous French Toast was unlike any french toast I have had before. Resembled a piece of bread with batter poured on top of it. Was well worth the visit. This is a cash only establishment, so plan accordingly.
