Furniture Lounge — Local services in Champaign

I was looking for a last minute gift for my wife. I found something that would work well. The woman at the counter did not know the price but promised to give me a price at 2:30 to enable me to buy the gift before they closed at 4:00. She sent me a text suggesting that the item was on Ebay. I could not find it on Ebay. She failed to repond to my questions. All I needed to know was if I needed to run to the mall to try to find an alternative gift or if I could still plan on purchasing the item. I texted and called multiple times and never received a response. 24 hours later, I have still not received a response. I am off to the mall and not happy about the bind they put me in, especially after promising me they would not do so. I don't know how they treat customers that way and manage to stay in business. I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit Furniture Lounge! From start to finish, I enjoyed my trip there very much. I was greeted warmly when I walked in & provided helpful advice as to how the store was broken down into sections (make sure to check out both upstairs & down). The store itself was clean and had a great selection of well-maintained or restored pieces. There is a LOT to look at, but it doesn't feel overly crowded. All items seemed to be priced fairly as well. Lastly, the employees were wonderful - helpful, but not pushy. ...

I loved this furniture store! It was super unique and retro. My favorite parts were the vintage clothes selection and the amazing decor. It really felt like a step into the past, plus the guy at the register seemed pretty cool. One minor complaint was that the music kept randomly going out?
