Beware of the Burger King on rural and ray. I did an online order there this morning at 10:30 for my young sick daughter. She’s autistic and has very few “safe” food that she will eat and unfortunately chicken fries are one of them.
I placed an order on the app to pick up in drive through. I pull up explain I placed an order and gave the name.
The extremely rude cashier told me no, called me dumb and rudely said “ you know you’re at a Burger King right?!” I told him yes, read my order and the address. He told me he is “done talking to me” and refused to even look at my order. Ignored me at the drive up window and shooed me away. Mind you I already paid!
Finally as I have a sick 5 year old in the car. I parked, went inside with her and he wouldn’t even help me, called me dumb for a second time , got aggressive then finally looked at my order once I started yelling at him and having to get rude right back. I asked for a refund, he refused. He finally found the order, never apologized. Said a manager wasn’t available until noon. He removed his name tag before I could get a name and refused to give it to me. I’ve called 3 times since noon no answer on their end.
I cannot believe how quickly the interaction went from a normal interaction to an all out verbal war. My daughter was so upset once in the car. I was totally embarrassed that it had to get to that point and even more insulted that within 30 seconds he called me names. I will never return to that one and I suggest everyone stay on guard if you go there and he’s working.

I tried to call the Burger King (on Ray and Rural) when I got home, but the number listed on their website was a FAX number. So I could never get through that entire evening. Also the girl at the drive-up window was very rude. When I drove up to the window for my order, I said hi how are you and she just stared at me. After I got my wrong order, I asked if they had a plastic bag to put my order in. The girl said "no" (only "no") again in a rude tone and just staring at me. So I drove off and when I got home I realized they gave me the wrong order. Since I couldn't get through to them on the phone, I found an email address for them where I could lodge my complaint. I received a response which asked me to send them "the email and order number" with the details. I sent back my email address and said there was an "order 8" at the top of the receipt. On January 6, 2022, I received another response, asking again for the "email address of your mobile app account, the date and time of your visit, the amount spent and the refund reason." Read moreI was the fifth car in line in the drive-thru at 2 p.m. (so pretty far removed from lunch hour). I should have realized that wasn't a good sign. It took 20 minutes for me to get my food. I was certain someone in front of me must have ordered 200 Whoppers or something, but I was disappointed to see everyone before me receiving a typical looking order -- no trash bags full of burgers.
By the time I got my order, I high tailed it out of there, relieved. Part of me thought I was going to die in that line. It wasn't until I got back to work that I inspected the two items I ordered: my burger order was wrong and the Chicken Fries were burnt to a crisp. Awesome. So not only was my time wasted in this exchange, but also my money.
I don't usually write reviews, especially not for embarrassing fast food purchases like Burger King, but this was legit one of the worst fast food experiences I've had as of late. Short of suffering food poisoning (which I'd honestly not be surprised to suffer in the coming hours), it really couldn't have been much worse. The King would be spinning in his creepy grave.
