After hearing about a new Indian store in the neighborhood, I finally stopped by Curry Leaf — but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered Andhra Chicken (16oz) for $12.99 + tax ($14 total) and 2 rotis. The price felt a bit high, especially since the rotis weren’t ready and I was asked to wait. Then I picked up one box each of Motichoor and Boondi Ladoo. The staff member, Jyoti, said they were $5 each (not sure of the exact price). I noticed one box had 4 ladoos and the other had 5. When I asked why, she said “Motichoor is harder to make.” That was surprising since most Indian stores price sweets equally. She spoke to her colleague and said she’d add one more ladoo to the Motichoor box, so I agreed. But when I went back after grocery shopping, she told me I now had to buy by weight — $7 for 5 Motichoor ladoos and $6 for Boondi. When I questioned it, she said, “You asked,” which wasn’t true — I only wanted the Motichoor box as it was. Then she said the extra ladoo was a mistake and “we only give 4 per box.” The situation was handled very poorly — rushed, confusing, and unprofessional. Her body language was like , “Either take it or leave it.” Overall, it was a frustrating first visit. I expected better communication and customer service, especially during festival time. I decided not to argue and left without the sweets. Sadly, I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend this place based on...

The chef personally came out to greet us and recommended his authentic Jackfruit Curry and Baingan Curry, both bursting with incredible flavor and depth — unlike anything I’ve tasted before. My husband was absolutely on cloud nine enjoying the live fry!
There were so many dishes that captured the true essence of Indian home-style cooking — the kind you rarely find, even in top-rated restaurants. We’re so thrilled to have discovered this gem just four minutes from our home. Can’t wait to return and try more...
Read moreThis place is right next to my house and I had been excitingly waiting for it to open. Yesterday I was visited the place and righ when I opened the door I saw filthy floors with shoe marks, tire marks; leaves flying and just dirt everywhere. I could not bring myself to order food and I just left disappointed.
The reason this hit me so hard was, that right after I went to Bashas which is next door and it was just shining ,so clean… hygienic.
I would still like to give another opportunity to Curry leaf and will visit again nextweek and I am Hoping to surprised and poven wrong.. If that happens I would change my star rating for sure.
Come on Curry Leaf we are rooting for you, please address the cleaniess and...
