Vero Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Chandler

This was my third time ordering to-go over the phone at this location. The food is always excellent. Heres the problems: I ordered two pizzas, a salad and 1/2 and 1/2 garlic bread (half order has cheeze). I was told 30-40 minutes for it to be ready. When I arrived at 6pm (35 minute mark), I saw two pizzas in the heated storage. I paid, but was told my order wasnt ready. At 6:15, I was told they forgot to make the garlic bread and they were RUSHING it through. AT 6:37 (yes, 22 MINUTES later (to make garlic bread???), my order was ready. And sure enough, it included the two pizzas that had been in the warmer. Got home about 7 minutes later, and low and behold, we have two pizzas and two garlic breads, but no salad!! Both garlic breads were cold (I thought one had just been cooked??). Both pizzas were in my opinion, under cooked, and one was requested well done. So we waited for a garlic bread that was never missing. And never got the salad. Clearly the kitchen staff here is very disorganized, to say the least. The hostess did give me two $10 off coupons, but a manager should have gotten involved. This entire order should have been remade, but thats too long of time. Our pizzas werent cooked correctly. The bread order was in disaray, and no salad. Plus, our pizzas sat in the warmer from before 6pm when I arrived, until they were handed to me at 6:37. At LEAST almost 40 minutes. Thats not fresh. Doubt we will come back. Probably go back to the Sat Tan Heights location. They never had these kind...

We dined at this restaurant last night, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Friendly service and unbelievably delicious food! 😋🍕We ordered the Lake Shore Drive Butter Crust Pan, and oh boy, it did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely massive, loaded with an abundance of meat and cheese. Each bite was amazing and the buttery crust added a slightly buttery taste which was great.

Our server, Sarah, deserves a special mention. Her bubbly personality and warm demeanor made us feel right at home. She was incredibly friendly and took the time to engage in pleasant conversation with us. Sarah frequently checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. We give Sarah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ too!

To our surprise, the owner paid us a visit at our table. This personal touch made us feel valued and appreciated as customers. Despite it being a busy Friday night, he took the time to chat with us and ensure that everything was to our liking.

An experience one part underwhelming and one part disappointing. The rave reviews perhaps set my expectations too high. As I ordered takeout, I can’t comment much on service, but that it was fine, nor atmosphere, but that it was okay. I ordered a butter crust pizza and original buffalo wings. The pizza was alright, but the wings were a let down. I’ve had many wings from many places, and I think these were the tiniest ones yet. So small I ate through all 6 in about a minute. They were very weakly sauced and lacking flavor. I’ve also never received all flats before, which probably wouldn’t bother me as much if I didn’t prefer drums. So, wings are a no go here.
