The Paleta Bar Chandler — Restaurant in Chandler

I've been to the Ocotillo location and usually we get decent service with the young adults working there, but this time there was a father and son working. We always go for the Fresas con crema with almonds, pecans, and peanuts and man, normally they are very generous with the strawberries and toppings. I mean they top it off. This time we barely got any strawberries and they dropped chocolate balled up with nuts from dipping the paletas, into our cups. i asked if they can take them out, but the father told his son to leave it while he was telling me what it was. This was the one time that i didn't like their service. The dude was about to close and didn't care that i told him the other worker usually filled the fruit up then added the leche after. I recently moved back to Chandler, only to discover that Paletas Betty, my fave local dessert place, had permanently closed. :-( By chance I discovered The Paleta Bar, so I decided to give it a try. What a wonderful surprise! The paletas are every bit as good as Betty’s were — maybe even better. This place is THE BOMB! My mom, husband and two grand children enjoyed this wonderful treat on a Friday night. The establishment is clean as a whistle. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the paleta are creamy and tasty. They have creative dips, a variety of candies, fruits and nuts for toppings, and some great drinks too. All this at an incredible price! The whole family had dessert and it was about $20 with a nice tip. Such a great thing to have in the community. Try it. It will...
