Hi 5 Tea recently opened. The place is cute, but the workers (and owner) lacks good customer service. I'm standing there for a while to give my order and they never looked up to acknowledge me. They don't seem to know the menu, just take your order and your money. I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with egg custard. Matcha milk tea had a grainy texture and very bitter taste. There wasn't that much to drink because the cup was FILLED with tiny cubes of ice. The egg custard was okay. I was done with my drink before the food came. The Popcorn Chicken was very TINY pieces of chicken that was battered and fried. Okay, not impressive and not spicy. The Pepper Steak was mainly sauce with onions and bell peppers, not much beef. The beef was kind of tough and chewy. Not much flavor, but not terrible either. Overall, everything is OVER PRICED. 💸💸💸

at first i thought the location was a little sketchy so i was apprehensive, but this is literally one of the cutest boba places i’ve been to! the interior is large and spacious and has a fun, trendy vibe to it. extensive menu with lots of boba options as well as vietnamese street food and ice cream. wish they had the prices listed on the menu though. i ordered the mango delight which was $6.12 with tax so kinda pricy. it tasted great but the ice wasn’t blended properly so i had to crunch through ice every so often. i’d probably not get this drink again and would opt for a non-blended drink like the brown sugar milk tea or watermelon tea. the staff are friendly as well! not too busy so i’ll definitely be back again soon! overall thoughts: ambience: 5:5 drinks: 3/5 (atleast for blended) price: 4/5

Went in around 815 on a Wednesday evening, 45 mins before close. The worker there was super friendly and accommodating. All the claw games are quite new. They had it installed about 4 months ago he said. And there’s a $20 guarantee. My friend got her boba at 25% sweetness and that was a good level of sweetness. Tasted like it could be a 100%! But it was still nice. I got the calamari. Perfectly crispy and nice and hot. Love the mix of rings and legs. The sweet & sour sauce was more watery than I’m used to but tasted great. I’ll definitely come back again!

Arizona has an authentic source of great food and excellent customer service. I heard of this place through a good friend of mine and I'm glad I got to experience Hi 5 Sushi. Eli the waiter was attentive and accommodating. It's awesome to see the owner Tommy work alongside the team. Even more endearing to discover his son Darren and wife Jenny are in handling all the behind-the-scenes work. I loved all the items we ordered (surf and turf, catch of the day, tako sashimi and crispy garlic pork belly fried rice). Honestly, had me doing a mental happy-baby-eating-food dance. The Kikusui sake had a nice balance of being dry and refreshing. It was a great pairing with the meal. I appreciate and look forward to my next Hi 5 experience.
