Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Chandler

Jersey Mike's on Chandler Heights and Gilbert Rd. When this location first opened, it was nice & clean, staff greeted you when you walked in the door.

Today when I walked in, the Counter tops looked like they had not been wiped down all day. Lettuce & Tomatoes looked wilted, not fresh at all, I asked the server "Bryce" when was the last time they cleaned the counter tops where they prepare your sandwich, and they needed to clean the area where all of the toppings for your sandwich are located. It was a total sloppy mess !!

I explained to Bryce, I asked about when were the counter tops last cleaned, or sanitized, because standing on this side of the glass, it almost makes you not want to eat at this establishment. Not a very appealing look.

When Bryce finished preparing my sandwich, Bryce reached over to the left side of the counter for a large knife. I told Bryce, please do not touch my sandwich with that knife, it had dried mayonnaise, dried tomato juice, it was dirty. I told Bryce to leave it whole. I'll cut it when I get home, with a clean knife.

The Grill area was unkept, the entire area behind the counter looked like nobody takes the time to clean during their shift.

Bread sitting on top of counter top, crumbs, smeared dried up juice from the tomatoes. When I was getting ready to pay for my sandwich, I pointed out the dried up lettuce pieces on the counter top where he sat my wrapped sandwich by the cash register.

I paid for my sandwich, and I had to ask for a bag, Bryce just sat my sandwich on the messy greasy counter top.

I will not be returning to this Jersey Mike's, this is not the first time I've gone in, and the place just did not look very clean.

I'll go to Jersey Mike's in Gilbert on Williams Field Rd. Across from the San Tan Mall, It's always clean, staff is friendly, they take pride in their work space.

Bread is kept on a rack, not exposed and sitting on the counter top, you don't see a messy work area, Grill area looks clean, it's a complete different experience.

It's worth driving a little farther from home, at least I know the establishment...

I normally do not leave negative reviews but I feel this is just over due for this location. To start I have been to this location multiple time and EVERY time I visit I have never had a good experience. The service is extremely slow, they may have a ton of employees running around but no one is communicating with one another, or they are not paying attention to what is going on or needs to be done. I’ve had my phone orders completely mess up and incorrect and have even gotten other peoples food in with my order, or some food not even in the bag. Today was my last visit here I just cannot continue to visit this place and have bad service, I’m over it! Today I walked in and was greeted by the cashier, no biggie, got in line (there was only one person a head of me already being helped) 3 employees looked at me but no one asked my order for 5 minutes (yes I timed it) then when the gentleman asked what I wanted I proceeded to tell him only to have him walk away in the middle of me telling him my order and he came back 3 minutes later with a pen and paper and asked me 2 more times to repeat my order, didn’t relay any information to any of the other employees that could help get started and proceeded to get the bread for my order and the gentleman behind me then he disappeared again for another 5 minutes while the cashier and other employee stood there clueless! My first sub finally got started but the employees asking what toppings I wanted wouldn’t speak loud enough to hear so I finally got tired of asking what she was saying and just assumed she was asking what I wanted on my sub. Once that sub was finished I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for my hot sub that no one got started on when they should have and it was completely the wrong sub! and there was no manager on site to talk to either. I will not be going back or referring anyone to this...

I don't mind if my order is messed up. I DO mind if you handle that poorly. I ordered a sub club...add salami and relish. I decided to eat there since I knew the sandwich was made wrong. I had already asked about bacon and they said "ya its on there" I thought maybe they were using the new invisible pork they came out with last month. There was no bacon..no biggie I asked and they generously gave me 1 slice for the whole sandwich. No worries I'm a millionaire you already charged me for double meat for 3 slices of salami..no sweat my friend. Took a bite...no mayo no relish...deep breath you got this Steph...asked the girl if they can just remake it for me. Apparently theres a protocol for if they can remake it. In comes Mr. Personality... what's wrong...ummm ok this is a good start...can you remake my sandwich plz? He literally did not even make eye contact 🙄 and said I can give u a packet of mayo and relish on the side. I was like ok mr ponytail...formally known as mr Personality.. this isn't burger king cuz im definitely not havin it my way...seriously tho...this is a sandwich shop...no sides nothin you don't even have to put soda in my cup...I got u holmes sit back relax...u make ONE thing!!! And if you can't make that ONE thing then go hand out food in a soup kitchen...but please do not give me an attitude about fixing a wrong YOU did my man...
