✨This location is across the street from the Chandler Fashion Center. 🚘There is plenty of parking. There are benches out front in case your party needs to wait for a table. We were seated right away on a Monday night. 😃The host greeted us when we came in and asked how our day was while he led us to our table. 🪑There are a lot of seating options. You can sit at the bar or in the bar area. There are flat screen TV's all around the restaurant, so if the bar isn't your scene, there are tables, large booths, and small booths. 😐If you are a larger person or you just need a little extra elbow room, I would suggest that you DO NOT sit at one of the smaller booths. It already has condiments, 1-2 table-tents with specials, and a stand-up tablet that all belong on that table. Once you start adding drinks, appetizers, your entrees, and sides, it can feel overwhelmingly crowded. Most of the booths have a little step, so you need to remember when you get up from the booth, so that you don't trip or fall off the small ledge. Also, it probably wouldn't work with a booth if you were dining in a wheelchair. 📲If you have never eaten here before, the menu can be a little intimidating. I would suggest that you maybe take a look at it online to get an idea of what you want before you come. ⌚If you are planning on eating endless sides, I would suggest that if you choose to eat here, don't be in a hurry. Be patient, but be ready to let your server know if you want anything, each time they check on your table. They also had expeditors the night we were here. They are staff that bring out the food when it is ready in the kitchen. One of just dropped food off. The other also picked up empty dishes and asked if we needed anything else. 🍔Mostly Red Robin is known for their burgers and their endless sides deal. 🥗🍟🍕They also serve pizza, American dishes and appetizers. 😃The night we ate here, our server, Yazi, was very friendly and very busy. She did a great job of taking our order and checking on us. We each chose different burgers. They both came out at the same time and they were cooked the way we asked them to be prepared. The sides we ate were steak fries with the seasoning already added(a bit salty), a side salad, and some garlic fries. One of the salads did take longer than the fries, but we were not in a hurry. 💲Make sure that you check the menu or ask the server which endless sides come with price of the burger because some of the sides are premium or an upgrade and will add an extra $2.99+ to your bill. 😁I had no idea how to use the tablet to pay, but your server can show you what to do. All the employees in the restaurant seemed very willing to help customers. The restaurant also has a rewards app to earn points for discounts...
Read moreThe prices of everything have gone up, but thankfully the quality of food at Red Robin has stayed the same. I greatly appreciate a place that has a both some vegan and many vegetarian options available. There are also many chicken and beef burger options, appetizers, adult drinks, and a few desserts. My go to burger is the Whiskey River BBQ Burger with a veggie patty. Smoke And Pepper is my boyfriend's favorite burger. My daughter enjoys the endless Mac n cheese and mandarin oranges. I tried the new Paradise Punch cocktail which was pretty good (could use a splash more alcohol), and the Strawberry Freckled Lemonade cake was delicious!
The interior is almost the same as the Tempe Marketplace location which we've frequented many times. A manager visited our table and was very nice. Our server was okay, a little flat but nice. Our fry and water refills took longer than usual. We saw 2 other people working there because they have a sort of "buddy system" with food and drink delivery. We told them we were celebrating our kids birthdays which usually they offer a birthday song (they sang for the table behind us when he we were first seated) but guess it slipped their minds.
If you're not part of their rewards program (Red Robin Royalty) I highly recommend signing up now. You get a free gourmet burger during your birth month, and if you have kids add their birthdays for a free kids meal during their birth month as well.
Our kids received balloons after their meals. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Overall we will be back to this location. There wasn't anything inherently wrong with our visit and it was a good time. Look forward to another nice visit...
Read moreWe were in town for my husband’s work last week, & he took a few days off for R&R. We used to enjoy occasionally going to Red Robin (YUM!) for my favorites of steak fries with ranch dip & spiked freckled lemonade. And, yes, that's what we call it thanks to when our children were younger & would sing the jingle every time we passed by it, & it stuck. The only one in our area had great food & service but closed down due to a lack of business. On a whim, I checked to see if there was a Red Robin (YUM!) in the Phoenix area & found a few. We ate at a different Red Robin (YUM!) on Thursday night & had a less-than-stellar experience. (That's a story for another review.) I was still craving fries after church yesterday & found this location. Our waitress was Serena, & she was absolutely amazing! She was personable with a friendly, polite, perky personality. Serena knew about our experience at another location & made sure that we had a different experience with her at this location. I wanted tortilla chips with salsa & guacamole &, of course, fries with ranch dip. The tortilla chips were cooked on-site & were crisp, fresh, hot, & delicious. The guacamole was also made fresh & had chunks of avocado. The salsa was yummy, but I was craving the guac. My husband ordered salt & black pepper boneless wings (something happened, & they were out of traditional wings) with fries. We didn't get dessert because of other plans. We will gladly return to this location the next time...
