I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hop Social Grill in Arizona, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The impeccable service, delightful fish and chips, and mouthwatering Walnut Pear salad made this visit truly exceptional. The moment I stepped inside, I was taken aback by the beautiful interior design. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern sophistication and rustic charm. The restaurant's attention to detail in its décor and layout created a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, setting the stage for a wonderful meal. The service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff members were incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than willing to offer suggestions and accommodate any special requests, making us feel truly valued as customers. Now, let's talk about the food! The fish and chips were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The batter was light and crispy, perfectly complementing the tender and flaky fish inside. It was evident that only the freshest ingredients were used, resulting in a dish bursting with flavor. And don't get me started on the accompanying hand-cut fries—absolutely divine! The Pear Walnut salad was a delightful surprise. It was the ideal palate cleanser before indulging in the main course. Overall, my experience at Hop Social Grill was fantastic, and I cannot recommend this place enough. The exceptional service, delectable fish and chips, and tantalizin salad made it an absolute pleasure to dine there. If you're looking for a restaurant with a great ambiance and delicious food in Arizona, look no further than Hop Social Grill. You won't be...
Read moreDecent selection of beer and liquor as expected of a tavern. We got the brussel sprouts and spinach artichoke dip for apps and though the flavor was good (the brussel sprouts were muy tasty), I felt the portion sizes left much to be desired. At that price point (a little under $12) for the dip, I expected a lot more dip, but maybe that's just me. For entrees, we went with two of the house specialities: blackened chicken feta pasta and the chicken pot pie, as well as the jalapeno burger. The blackened chicken was well seasoned and cooked, the pasta was also the right al dente. The only drawback was the sauce that came with the pasta was a little watery for my tastes, but my husband and kiddo both liked it. Made for a light pasta flavor that was easy to get behind with the white wine, basil, spinach flavor profile which all complemented each other rather well. The pot pie was delicious and you can definitely tell it was made in house. The pastry part could be thicker, but overall it was a solid pot pie. The jalapeno burger, sad to say, was the least fave of the night. The crispy fried onions overpowered any spiciness that was in the burger, which kinda defeated the purpose of getting a jalapeno burger... And the fries that accompanied it were a little mushy. But the burger was cooked the perfect medium, and the rest of the condiments were delicious by themselves. I've read reviews of the Hop Social having a good happy hour and I would love to come back to give it a try. Overall the food was good, portion sizes, them lacking a few beers they had advertised on tap, and that the food was good but not blow your mind amazing gave them a...
Read moreHop Social Tavern is a tavern/ lounge, with all around decent everything. The drinks and food are decent, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will start by rating them and then giving the explanation. If the ambiance of this tavern was any less nice, I would have given them 3 stars. I am giving them 4 stars. I had a drink called the Strawberry Punch, which was basically a long island iced tea with berry flavored syrup. It did taste a little like cough syrup, but after the ice melted, it mellowed out. I also got the Chicken Marsala, and tasted the beef tips signature dish, and the Chile verde nachos.
Everything I tasted here was very decent, but I can't say much more than that. The chicken was cooked fair, and was not too smothered in the marsala sauce, and had a decent flavor; but it had the sort of "soggy" feeling when you're chewing it. The beef tips, strangely, had a very seafood-like taste to it, as well as them being a little dry. It really reminded me of eating muscles or clam because of how chewy they were. As for the nachos, there isn't much to say, they're pulled pork nachos and there isn't much else that's special about them; except that their chips taste a little like popcorn.
I would say that the food here is probably all decent quality, as their menu is very wide-spread, as far as the options go. There are burgers, sandwiches, and sushi (which may account for the seafood-like flavors). Like I said, if the location or ambiance was slightly worse, I would have given...
