First time here for lunch with a friend, and I’m very pleased. We started off with the meatball appetizer, and I was impressed with the meatballs; sauce; and cheese (ricotta). It came with six pieces of toasted bread. Very filling that I took most of my entree with me. Yes, I could have ordered steak or seafood; but I had the taste of a cheeseburger. Served perfect at medium rare with fries. My friend had the chicken and gnocchi in a cream sauce. Before leaving I had to try the key lime. Though there was too much graham cracker crust it was still good. Packing most for ‘To Go’ as my friend ordered two truffles to take home. Not doing so would be grounds for a divorce. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Had it been cooler out I would have sat outside on their covered patio. The bathrooms were very clean. Only issue may be parking… I’m not sure how much a challenge that would be during peak hours. I’ll be back. I highly recommend CH. The wind selection is HUGE! And, I’ll have to try the truffles. The total after tax was $98.04. Appreciate the tip suggestion based upon the pre-tax subtotal.
Update: returned on a Sunday evening (February 2nd) for dinner. I sat at the bar, and started my meal ordering a cup of the shrimp, crab, and lobster bisque. While waiting on the soup they served a warm loaf of pretzel bread with butter. To drink I had a glass of red wine, and water. The wine was fine, and the bread was good. The soup came, and it was packed full of fixings. Not that it wasn’t good. However I would enjoy more broth; giving a nice balance to the soup. My entree was the Trio of Medallions. I had requested medium rare, but they were medium. They were still very tender… and so I didn’t bother mentioning it. To finish my meal I was torn between two items. It was between the caramel cream brûlée, and the chocolate mousse. I was persuaded by my server when it was mentioned the mousse was for a limited time. When it arrived I didn’t know what it was that was being called a mousse. It was very thick; like a gnash. I had to scrape and scoop out bites. By the 2nd scoop I pushed it away not caring to have it. My server was very understanding, and was quick to replace it with the brûlée. It was okay. Better than the mousse. The custard was too soft; more like wet than creamy. If I had to start over I may have changed a few things about my order. For now, learn and live. My tab + tax = $85&change… not...
Read more💙 Still love Cooper’s Hawk… but today is a blow 10.27.25.
Came in to use my birthday reward (which I’d forgotten about) and grab my membership bottles. Dragged my husband along—he’s always a good sport.
Unfortunately, they were out of Coors Light and, come to find out, don’t plan to restock it. 😢 My husband will drink other drafts, but he really doesn’t like the ones they offer. So now I’ll never get him to come with me again 😭🥺😩
Still adore the food, wine, and staff here—just super disappointed. 💔
🍽 Food highlights: – Crab-stuffed filet medallions – rich, clean, no fishiness. – Tempura shrimp – perfectly crisp. – Crab, lobster & shrimp bisque – out of this world. – Peach margarita & ciders – refreshing and delicious. – Wine flutes – generous pours. – Only miss: Calamari – chewy, stuck together, drenched in overly sweet sauce. Management immediately removed it and even comped brussels sprouts (amazing!) 💚
🥃 Drinks: – Lucy makes a fantastic old fashioned – husband-approved. – Roberta is top-notch – if you’re not a member, let her show you why you need this in your life 😉
💫 Service = next level: – Brooklyn – sweet, energetic, and gives spot-on recommendations. – Angie – incredibly patient and kind. – Deja – helped me with wine pickup and explained flavor profiles (leather vs. tobacco) in such a clear, helpful way. – Alex (Alexandra) – THE tasting experience. Turned what started as the worst (short-staffed, hard-to-engage) into the BEST tasting I’ve ever had. So knowledgeable, engaging, and fun—I’d literally plan visits around her schedule. – Honestly, every team member we’ve met is warm, patient, and never makes you feel like a burden.
❄️ Bonus story (hospitality level = insane): We took a chance on a bar spot instead of reserving a table. Heads up: those vents are brutal. I was freezing, and my husband asked for help. The GM, Ryan, went to his own car and brought me his personal Cooper’s Hawk milestone jacket (he’s been there 12 years!). It’s gorgeous—they should sell them! That gesture 💙 That’s not just good service—it’s unforgettable kindness.
⚠️ One small note: Coming early can mean slower service since there’s less staff—but honestly? They still make sure you’re taken care of.
✅ Bottom line: Cooper’s Hawk isn’t just about phenomenal food and wine—it’s about exceptional hospitality and people who make every...
Read moreMy husband and I recently moved to the area and wasn't really sure where we should go to celebrate our 7th year anniversary. My husband happened to find this place on Google and it's not far from where we are at, so decided to give it a try, so happy we did! First off, I definitely recommend making reservations. Ours was for 5:30pm and even though it wasn't to too busy when we first arrived, it wasn't long after that that the place filled up and came to life. The wine bar and little shop when you first walk in is nice, gives you some items to walk around and look at while you're waiting. We were seated fast because we had reservations. Our waitress, Gwyn H, was awesome! She is very friendly, knowledge about the menu in all categories and wines, made suggestions that we loved, kept our glasses full and table cleared, easy to communicate with and stayed busy busy but was on top of things that you didn't have to stop your meal to look for your waitress, which we loved. She's a very hard worker and great at multitasking. We will definitely be asking to sit in her area when we return. We ordered the Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Bisque to start, rich and creamy but not over powering. We both agreed that it was the best we've had. Loved that they used the pretzel bread to make croutons to go in it. ( You get pretzel bread and butter when you're seated) and we shared their Gnocchi Carbonara, which they split for us in the kitchen. So what is pictured is half of the order. And there was still plenty for us to bring home for lunch today. (Gwyn H packaged it and wrote a cute little notes on the box. It's those small little details that makes a person feel special and she's nailing it!) I have never had carbonara, so I wasn't sure what to expect, I would describe it as very light and filling, which was perfect because for dessert, they brought us their house truffles to celebrate our anniversary. The truffles were rich and creamy and very delicious. We also samples a couple of their brand wines, the riesling and the barrel wine, both were tasty. We were very satisfied with the restaurant and happy we found it to celebrate our anniversary. We plan to return very soon. I need to check out that braised short rib risotto and I need more bisque! Thank you all for a...
