Sad being could have been much better!

*The greatings (-1.01 star)

First off walked I to the location stood infront of a manager(tall white dude button up blue shirt) and hostes for about a min and half befor and sort of communication with me and my fiancee. They were talking about personal items but the abrupt and intentional cold shoulder was rather of setting. Understand we did not look part of maybe the wanted populis being we just left the gym and were not dressed up but I assure you my money still works.

*Waitress- Haily(- .2 stars)

She was a very good waitress a little on edge and rushed but all in all did well. We did receive the incorrect sides sadly and had to wait for her to return to get corrected. She did not make it to our table till we were nearly complete so our side was rushed and seemed to be little under cooked/warmed(port mushrooms)

She could have been a little more attentive and upsold more but all in all was a good waitress.(-.2stars)

*Food-

Manhattan clam chowder- hearty but under seasoned missing salt and pepper big time. Would have liked to see the broth have a little bit more Unami flavor to it.

Meal 1

Honey garlic chicken was good cooked well, enjoyed the sauce. But to claim the tomatoes were marinade in a balsamic, they were not the were put on top os a balsamic drizzle and seemed unnecessary if anything off putting being they were chunky and cold.

Side 1(seasonal option)-

asparagus overly seasoned and salted, was incredibly salty almost on the edge of inedible.

Side 2(was not ordered as the side but received)-

mashed potatoes. I love me a good mash! This was a very very basic mash, not good not bad persoanlly would not order it again(didn't this time lol)

Side 3(what was ordered for side 2 originally)- (-.25 stars)

Port Mushroom came after food was completed was 100% rushed so was still kind of cold, could of been great if handled properly.

Meal 2-

Stripped bass and shrimp both severely over cooked. Feel was due to sitting under heat waiting for chicken to complete. Sauce/butter was fantastic honestly helped save the dish (-.8 stars)

Side 1- seasonal option

Side 2- came with dish

Ancient grains was real good flavor and the diversity of the texture sadly found a hair in the dish lil off putting but was near the end so was not brought up to the waitress. (-.25 stars hair)

Lastly ac was out so was rather warm

Original review Amazing salad! Went for a quick meal was not disappointed...

Tonight was the second time having dinner here. Both times the food came out cold and wrong. But once we got the food fixed and hot it was delicious.

First time I ordered their 3 course dinner. I got a salad which was delicious even though they gave me the wrong dressing. For my main course I ordered the steak which came with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. I ordered my steak medium and asked for carrots as my vegetables. I was brought out a steak and the carrots. The carrots were cold, steak was rare and the potatoes were missing. When I brought this to my server’s attention I was informed that potatoes do not come with the dish but they would gladly fix the steak and carrots. I ended up speaking with the manager who also told me that potatoes didn’t come with the meal. At this point I thought I was going crazy because I know the menu said it came with garlic mashed potatoes. Being extremely frustrated I asked to see the menu again. In black and white it said the meal came with mashed potatoes. Everyone apologized, I was told the menu was new so they are still getting used to it. I said it was fine but the way it was handled was not okay. It was as simple as looking at the menu but the staff didn’t do that, instead told me I was wrong for over 5 minutes. Once we got it sorted and I got the correct food, cooked the way I ordered it, it was delicious. When the bill came there was no compensation for any of the problems we had, and I’m sorry but being called a liar by staff who had horrible attitudes was definitely not okay.

Second time- We decided that the food was so good (once it came out correctly) to give them another try tonight. I ordered the exact same thing I ordered the first time (it’s been about 2 months). Salad came out perfect, main course came out with the steak cooked rare, cold carrots and asparagus. I told the server that I was missing the potatoes, the carrots were cold, the steak was rare and I didn’t order asparagus. She offered to fix it right away. The manager brought out the food, he was very nice, apologized. The food was delicious. Again, the bill came and there was no compensation. Keep in mind that both times I went with my husband, both times he was completely done with his meal before I got mine.

We only get out once in a while without our children so it is extremely disappointing that both times we ended up with problems.

I would definitely recommend the food but I think the customer service...
