Starbucks is typically great. I personally love the one on Mclintock and Warner Road in Tempe, AZ. It is a great place to sit with the kids and do homework. Traffic was heavy. I decided to stop by this location. I should have known to walk out when I heard a male employee rudely order a female employee to stop taking walk-in customers and to go work the drive-through.
She looked humiliated to be spoken to in that manner. As a manager, I was disgusted that an employee would speak that way to another employee. Especially in front of customers. That should have been my clue to leave, but I didn't.
The same male employee walked up to take my order. I asked him what drinks don't have caffeine. I like asking this question because most employees have great suggestions of caffeine free drinks they like to make. I ask for my kids. They get the tastiest kid friendly drinks that eay. He promptly responded, "apple juice and those drinks," referring to the drinks in the cooler. Rather than dealing with an employee who already demonstrated their unprofessionalism, I walked out with my three kids and headed to Mclintock and Rural.
At the Mclintock and Rural Starbucks, we got the typical great service we have learned to expect. The employee suggested a chocolate raspberry Frappuccino without the coffee. The kids loved it!
I strongly suggest you have a talk with the male who was working on 11/10/2022 at around the 3 pm hour. He really shouldn't be treating fellow employees rudely, and he needs some training on the different types of drinks Starbucks employees can make...

The reason this is strange is because we come here all the time and there has never been an issue... Read moreI come here 7 days a week. I order the same thing every time. Tastes different every day depending on who is making it. I'd think they would have to follow required measurements per Starbucks recipes. I order brown sugar shaken expresso and sometimes I can't detect an once of coffee. Its white as a ghost! If I dare bring it to there attention here comes the attitude. For 7 dollars I think I should at least be able to drink it. It's convenient that's why I come to this location but there customer service is nonexistent and I'm not asking or any modifications to the drink.
