This is my first V.I. review. I have to say Im a little disappointed in my experience most notably this location, however, not exclusive to it. I work all over the valley and often stop into the closest V.I. location on any given day. Usually order lunch, coffee, dessert sometimes dinner. I bring my computer with me and have been known to work for several hours at a time. I always try to keep ordering something so as not to overstay my welcome. I've been to this locations twice with the same experience. The wait staff was friendly and attentive at first. I was asked to pay my bill because my waitress was going off duty. (I totally get that, and I was happy to pay...this happened both visits) However after she left...no one( including the manager on duty) seemed to acknowledge my existance for a VERY VERY long time, almost as though they were going out of their way to do so. Again same experience (same manager on duty) both visits. I could somewhat sympathize if they were deliberately trying to get me to leave due to a lack of tables, however there were only 3-4 tables occupied at any given time during my visits. I realize your facilities are not "Internet cafe's per se, perhaps this is the managements way of telling me that I have indeed overstayed my welcome...at least thats the...
Read moreToday's visit was a "to go" order. They just put your bag on a table now and you grab it...just like good ol' pandemic times. Zero human interaction. Except now you make your way through the line of people waiting to get a table in order to get to the "to go" table. đ
I never understand what the "$5 adjustment" added fee is for. They've been arguing this for the past year or so. Nobody seems to be able to explain it to me when I ask. I also added a tip. Maybe I'll stop doing that if that $5 is to pay them to put a bag on a table.
This visit had something I've never seen and now I know why...ketchup packets thrown on top of the potatoes inside the container. In case you have never experienced this, you should know that foil packets get REAL HOT when placed on top of freshly fried food. About the time I got it home was peak lava temperature...just in time for me to grab them.
I also feel like it's a little gross to have packets that have potentially been touched by many hands of servers, cashiers, & cooks, sitting on my potatoes, with the condensation rinsing all the packet outside onto the potatoes underneath.
The good news is, we didn't care much for the potatoes. They've changed and it's not for the good. Maybe we will switch to hash browns...
Read moreIt was hard for me to give this a 1. We absolutely love them, but during breakfast. Dinner time, the place is like day and night. Itâs never busy for dinner, yet we waited a good 10-15 min for someone to come out and seat us. There was no one to be found when we came in. We were rushed to be seated by the manager, and then she disappears. We get our waitress to take our order, and it took about 30-40 minutes to be served our food. It was overcooked. Yet during all that time we were waiting, there sure was a lot of laughter and taking in the back. Iâm all for having fun with your co workers, but it just made them look bad for the time we had to wait. We will not be returning again for the dinner hour. Please do better. You are capable. Changes need to be made big time.
Update to this post since Iâm somehow not able to leave a new one. Your poor excuse for a manager is Ashley. Very unprofessional. Her attire is house clothing, her demeanor is not friendly. You guys are better than this. Time to look for a manager who is friendly and welcoming, doesnât hide in the back, who wants to be there. Mary, Kim, and Beth are our favorites. Also kudos to your manager Zach. Energetic and always smiling. AM...
