$18.96 spent on a piece of Cardboard. I ordered a Large Thin Cheese pizza, 1st time customer, last time customer. The box was so light I didn't think the pizza was in there. Opened the box and Ummm, where was the cheese!! You can see by the pic that it's basically sauce. The sauce - bad bad bad, very pasty and salty with tons of dried oregano, heartburn type. If you like that type of sauce on your pizza you will Love it. I am from Chicago and I keep getting let down by all these places and raving reviews. We grew up with more of a "disappearing" tomato like sauce which, I have turned many non-chicagoins on to! They had no idea a pizza could be so good but.. I ruined them, lol.. From the reviews I figured I might have found a place..no way Jose'. This place could be plopped in the middle of Indiana (they are clueless to good pizza) and they would rave. The crust basically had no flavor however, they don't pop their bubbles so Yay!
Salernos thin cheese pizza is the BEST in the East Valley besides Lou Malnati's (deep dish, butter crust, cheese & xtra sauce - salivating). Salernos has that beautiful light sauce and their cheese pizza is hefty @ $19.98.. I live in Florence so being disappointed is a long way back to the city to replace a bad meal -especially after a 12 hour Shift working in CCU/ICU with sick - Unvaccinated Covid Patients.
I gave two stars because the young gentleman working the counter was absolutely wonderful.
Hoping this helps someone looking for the type of pizza I am.
Update: The defensiveness from the owner shows more of an emotional response than a professional one. I never said anything about the sauce being bland? The owner just verified my review on the sauce! Also, the sarcasm in asking me if this was their pizza, come on... I am letting people know the style of the pizza. Notice how nothing was said about the...

Pizza has 5 times the amount of oregano/bitter herbs then you'll find in any commercial pizza company(makes you wonder who would purchase this as a franchise opportunity?) Staff can not tell you about any of the menu items being a favorite as they can only enjoy the hours old display pies in thglass case and no employee can afford to eat even with a emoyeee discount. Dear Karen(s),if you try to get a Zeeks delivery driver fired in a right to work state fired for offensive driving AND your Zeeks driver has cameras in their car, you might want to reconsider putting your dog on a leash when you try to get your driver fired for flinching when your dog leaves your side. Any attorney Wil try to take your house, regardless of leash law penalties. For better or for worse. Also make sure your Zeeks employee doesn't have a food entertainment television show in hiatus but has a deal for 5 seasons. Or you might be known for eternity and the topic of a television show about wrongly offended customers of food...
Read moreDon't order for delivery if you would like anything customized or have special dietary restrictions. I want to love Zzeeks and try them every 6 months or so and every time my pizza is not made correctly and they acknowledge that what I get doesn't match the label they put on the box. We have gotten to the point where we show the driver because we check upon receiving the order. They will not refund your money even if you don't get what you ordered. It is too pricey to have this sort of policy and that is not good customer service. They drive back to the store and remake the pizza and drive back, but by then the rest of the party or family is done eating and it is a huge disappointment. I've tried at least 5 times wanting to support a local business and I have given them numerous chances, but every time I'm disappointed and the "customer service" policy stinks. Several times the pizza wasn't cooked the best when they brought out the 2nd one--obviously rushed to get it back to me. My order was specifically for gluten and dairy - free pizza...
