Do not go hear - about 5 places within 1 mile of here. Google it. Here is why: To go service is well below anything acceptable. I have order through a deceiver service here 6 times - never has my order been 100% accurate. Like one time I order chips and salsa and no salsa came. Another time I put a note on the order to put all guac and sour cream on the side so the tacos don't get soggy en route to my home but they still out it on, I got soggy tacos. Another time I asked for extra salsa and they didn't give me ANY salsa. Tonight I ordered $60 worth of food for my family, again. I forgot to ask for chips and salsa with my food. I called in to see if I could get chips and salsa added and she said I would have to go back to delivery service app and reorder, well we know that doesn't make sense because if I did I would have to pay a full delivery fee and service charges. So I said hey, you know what, no chips please just make sure I get extra salsa for my $60.00 (SIXTY DOLLARS) worth of food. You know, like $.50 worth of tomato sauce, onion, lime, serranos, and cilantro. Heres what she says: "if you want more salsa you should ask your delivery driver to go to the self serve bar here and fill some containers for you." No offense - I have nothing against drivers - but I am not asking my driver Paul Bunyan to stick his grubby fingers into a salsa bowl 10 times to fill 1/4 ounce plastic to go Ramekins when this place has 8 ounce styrofoam contains ($.10 each) they can dump that $.30 worth of Salsa in. To summarize - Farewell Señor...
Read moreShrimp, shrimp, shimp... and fish too! This is my go-to location for anything shrimp in the valley, even over any seafood restaurants. Grilled Shrimp Taco - the shrimp are tasty and succulent and do not have that non-fresh shrimp taste which you get at many places. Shrimp Avocado Caesar Salad - It is huge and in my opinion the best shrimp caesar avocado salad in all of Phoenix. I recently brought one home from another location and a day later I took the salad, put it into a bowl, along with all the toppings that came with it. There was so much salad it nearly filled a 1 gallon tupperware bowl - it was like it doubled in size from the container it came in. Prior to covid, the cost was $11+. Post covid it only went up $12+. Price to value/quality could not be beat before covid and with everyone raising their prices from 20% to 30% afterwards, it's an even better value now. Ceviche (shrimp cocktail style) Tostada - this is my wife's favorite, which is very fresh tasting and a nice cooling treat. Shrimp Quesadilla - It is large and extremely tasty. Shrimp Cocktail - This comes in a large goblet with plenty of shrimp, chopped vegetables, a very flavorful tomato juice and all the crackers you need. And now for this fish... Fish Taco - Check out my prior review on their fish taco batter. For a Baja style fish taco see my review on the Senor Taco Express on the corner of Val Vista and Williams Field.

Read moreSeñor Taco has been serving delicious Mexican cuisine since 1974, and my recent visit there was a delightful testament to their long-standing reputation. I had the classic shrimp burrito, modified to add beans, loaded with jumbo shrimp so generous that I stopped counting at eight, with a few more pleasantly surprising me towards the end. This burrito and the chips included offered incredible value and was extremely satisfying.
The salsa bar was a highlight of the visit, featuring a tasty selection including salsa verde and a fiery diablo hot sauce, which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. He had the bean and rice burrito and a chicken street taco, both filling and comforting, perfectly capturing the essence of classic street food.
Despite the somewhat unusual aftertaste of the guacamole, a simple mix with the salsa verde made it a delicious accompaniment for my chips. Although we opted for water, the available aguas frescas like horchata and cucumber sounded tempting.
The restaurant also impressively offers a drive-thru, adding convenience to their fantastic food service. Additional amenities like plentiful parking and ample air-conditioned indoor seating enhance the dining experience, making it comfortable and convenient for all guests. The self-service Pepsi fountain also offers a nice touch.
Señor Taco is undoubtedly a place I will return to, dreaming of that shrimp burrito and the excellent, finger-licking good...
