Panda Express — Restaurant in Chandler

I visited on 07-10-2025 around 8PM and I will always continue to drive the extra mile for this location! I was excited to try their new hot orange chicken but I was worried I'd get their leftovers for the night and not a new fresh batch, rightfully so because it's my fault for coming in so late. Also, i'm not one to ask for a new batch to be made especially when its so close to closing time so I wasn't going to but Summer H. asked me if I wanted to wait for new fresh batch to be made, that was so kind because most DON'T do that! I agreed to wait and she gave us our drinks for free due to the wait! Her kindness didn't stop there because after the very SHORT wait she offered us a free appetizer for the wait. I had to deny the offer of the free appetizer because I believe in not taking advantage of someone's kindness and the free drinks were already awesome enough!! She's a great, awesome, and a kind team member! People like her help others who have social anxiety to get a decent fresh meal. I will always return to a location that hire's employees with good work ethics / customer service!

Panda Express....I'm trying to think of I've ever liked and disliked a place so much. I've eaten here a couple times and I've got to day it's hit or miss. Sometimes the food is amazing, add sometimes it's cold and stale. Things are squishy that shouldn't be while others are hard that shouldn't be. Sometimes you get a decent portion of noodles and orange chicken, other times its small and you wonder if the server hates you for some reason. My last visit to this particular location I was excited because it was right around the beginning of the lunch rush, after 11 but not yet 12. I was glad that I'd get there when the food was still fresh and hot, but it wasn't. You always get that drop in your stomach when you realize they're scraping the bottom of the bowl for you. And it already feels l kind of like a blow to the stomach because it's pricey for not much. I know a lot of Asian buffets that are the same price for as much food as you want. But if the food is hot and fresh, I don't mind taking the now...

I had the fried rice, broccoli beef and an egg roll. The rice was completely dried out and even tasted old like old oil toyally inedible. The broccoli beef was so over cooked the broccoli was squishy and the meat so tough you couldn't chew it. I think they had been reheating the same stuff and putting it back out on the line for a long time. Yuck! Didn't even bother trying more than 2 bites. The egg roll was the only edible thing on the plate. I definitely won't be going back. My mother had the teriyaki chicken bowl with chow mein and said by drowning it in soy sauce it was edible but she won't be asking for food from this placed again. Guy who took order wasn't very friendly, more harried than anything. However the place was clean and plenty of places to sit.
