Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Channelview

Take your chances, eat their chicken, & get sick. Looks double fried or old grease it's been fried in. We've had their chicken a dozen times now since moving to the area & I'm leaving 2 stars because only less than1/2 of those times we haven't gotten some kind of stomach upset or the chicken was grade A. At first we thought because it was spicy but it's not. I know fresh cooked chicken in good grease when I see it & smell it. I can also eat tons of spicy things & I put cayenne in everything I cook so it's not that as I know my body. We will be finding another Churches as my husband absolutely loves it & was excited to have this one off I10 on his way home from long hours at work. It's why he keeps giving it a shot after I told him not to! Just sad how much it is & can't give a great product. Whoever is running this store needs to do better!! This was our first time purchasing from this Church's location. I must say we were not impressed. First off, we stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone appeared to serve us. We ordered the 10 piece mixed with 2 lg sided and 6 biscuits to go. When we returned home, I discovered that we only received 4 biscuits. Then upon opening the box of chicken, the pieces were so oddly cut that you could not identify what the pieces were except the drumsticks. The wings were so very small; what we thought were the breasts turned out to be thighs; and what they called breasts were just small chunks. No whole breasts at all. The past 4 times I've been here, the pieces of chicken displayed look juicy, delicious and fresh, however when I get the chicken I've ordered, the pieces are small, dry and old. I always order 2 chicken breasts and shrimp. The chicken breasts that I received are small and bony and may as well be thighs with hardly any meat on them. I asked if the chicken breasts given to me could be switched out for the fresher juicier looking ones, and was given a hard time about it.
