Bonchon Herndon — Restaurant in Chantilly

Booked a little "staycation" in Herndon. Was going to try another restaurant called bb.q chicken but decided to play it safe and order from Bon Chon. We live in Woodbridge and the Bon Chon out there is always great. I SHOULD HAVE JUST TRIED THE BB.Q place. This order was HORRIBLE! I am EXTREMELY mad. $56 down the drain. The rice is so soggy my daughter looked at it confused. It's like clumped up, grainy mashed potatoes. The chicken is overcooked, rock hard, and nasty. I wish I would have read the reviews because others have definitely posted the same over several months and it appears no one is taking the complaints or reviews seriously as they continue to steal people's hard earned money and give them food that shouldn't even be fed to farm animals. This is ridiculous. How many reviews will it take for them to do something about this? I want my money back. Now I have to order something else for my family to eat when I shouldn't have to because I I paid $56 on this garbage. Do yourself a favor. Order somewhere else.

I frequent the card shop next door and usually decide against eating out due to the lack of nearby options and not wanting the eat the frozen food sold at the store. However, with the opening of the Bonchon here, there is finally an affordable and savory meal. Although it’s mostly chicken and some Korean sides, there appears to be an expanded menu of Korean dishes like Bulgogi Baos and fusion dishes like corn dogs. The soy garlic was everything I expected and the fries were crispy as always. However, this 5 star review is really for the manager, Glory. He was friendly, warm, and open about the stores had under previous management. He was a great face for the store and even gave us an order of the Korean donuts to try something from the new menu. Two days ago, I found what I believe to be a false eyelash in my drumsticks. I have pictures, one of which I will post next. I contacted both UberEats and Bonchon corporate about immediately,, and quickly got an apology and refund from the delivery service, but have yet to receive any response from Bonchon. I was refunded for the "dish in concern," but understandably, I did not feel comfortable eating what else I ordered and as such,, expect to be refunded for the total amount I paid, excluding driver tip. Will update if and when I receive a response from Bonchon itself. Btw, I order delivery and/or pickup from here frequently and have had no problems previously, which is why I'm so disappointed in Bonchon's lack of response as they were given more than enough time...
