On April 3, 2017 I visited Chipotle Mexican Grill at the Franklin Farm Village shopping center, Herndon, Virginia and ordered tacos and a chicken bowl to take home. While I enjoyed the food, there were some things that the restaurant management needs to address going forward. First, I ordered food to go around 2:30 pm and the person who took my order seemed a little cavalier and I had to ask for additional chicken, beans and vegies because the server was being a little too skimpy with the portions. Second, because the lettice serving bowl was nearly empty, I asked for some that was fresh. The server brought out a new bowl of lettice and added it to my tacos and salad bowl and then instead of throwing the old lettice out, he mixed it together with the new lettice. I also felt that the restaurant staff had too much of a casual attitude towards customers and the skimpy portions, other than the low cost rice, didn't set well with me. Overall, I gave this restaurant a 3 which could have been lower but the food was generally good. My previous experience with this restaurant was alao not...
Read moreThis review probably applies to many Chipotle locations, not just this one, but I recommend everyone keep a mini food scale if they want to go to Chipotle. They underserve the portion of the protein by almost 50%. It's ridiculous! I really like Chipotle because you can build a healthy meal, but as someone who tracks their macros, this really upsets me. I weigh my food constantly and when we were being served I knew they were ripping us off. However, I didn't have a scale to prove this so I let it be. As soon as I got home I pulled out my food scale and weighed our portions. Mind you, a regular protein portion per Chipotle's website is 4oz and a double 8oz (you pay extra for this too). Please see pictures of our regular order coming in at a measly 2.6 oz and our double portion that should have been 8 oz weighing in 5.2oz. Meaning they consistently underserve!!! Ripoff! If you are someone who tracks their macros or are tracking your protein intake know Chipotle is happy to over charge you and...
Read moreI work at this chipotle and I understand these reviews, but people also need to realize from a worker perspective that it isn’t easy for us either. We have multiple tasks not just one, we have to prioritize online orders over in person customers due to time window. We are timed on online orders unlike in person. Also we don’t get to choose the portions, we are overlooked by the managers and have to follow protocol otherwise we get scolded. During a rush there will be an obvious mess due to being rushed with orders and not having time to clean up. Sometimes we are also understaffed and overworked. We are tired and still have to be energetic to enlighten customers. The orders sometimes gets messed up due to new orders popping up before later orders. We apologize for messed up orders and we always try our best to remake orders. It’s not easy working in...
