Starbucks — Restaurant in Virginia

These guys were great, with their service. Walked in and they were under pressure as the cold weather brought in a lot of early evening folks for something warm and cold. 4-stars at this location for the following: Open door step in and immediately greeted with a disgusting smell, not coffee or indications of cleaning solvents from cleaning. Almost felt like it was from the restrooms or trash.

The number of folks waiting and the backup. The backup partially because of the number of people; where they failed, the riders were all backed up from not taking attention to the mobile orders machine and keeping the paper loaded at all times. They identified it when people complained about their mobile orders not being ready. Then you have customers ordering in-store (being one) had to wait even longer than normal or anticipated for the drinks ordered. Due to the wait, missed most of the b-day party I should have been at in the same vicinity.

Kept it 4-stars for how these guys handled the hand dealt to them and this is the first time I've been there and from many others where the experience was not...

5 months ago I went to this location for the first time, and I wrote a bad review as I wasn't satisfied with the service and the cleanliness. Today I want to write a new one, as the place is a whole new experience!!! First of all I want to recognize the fantastic job the baristas do, I even ask them for recommendations and they are always so well predisposed helping me trying different drinks and meals. I didn't even know Starbucks have options for grabbing a bite one you want something fast and delicious! I want to thank specially to Sean (he is usually at the drive thru during the evening shift) and to Jorge, one of the managers as they always receive me with a smile, and they are very willing to solve any inconvenience in case something go wrong.

Plus the store changed the aspect so much in general, now is always clean and nitty (regarding how I like things to be done, of course); they do work in a very efficient way, fast but cordial at the same time.

So now I highly recommend and encourage everybody that have access to visit this...

I normally come to this location and use the drive thru but today I went inside and ordered. I ordered a strawberry açaí refresher. There were four people “working”. It took me about 10-15 minutes to get my drink. After sitting there looking at the atmosphere, I realized why. There was literally ONE person making drinks. Two ladies were chit chatting at the register and one at the window and then ONE lady (SAM) making drinks. She was so sweet but it was so sad to see ONE person making drinks for everyone. She was like a bolt of energy. I mean I understand if people don’t know how to make drinks but it’d make sense to watch Sam make the drinks then so you can learn. It was so sad that even the lady who ordered after me came up to me and made the same comments. She said it’s so sad they have ONE person making drinks while the others stand around talking. She asked me to say something but who do you even talk to that won’t cause hostility while someone is actually working. That is why I’m writing...
