Biryani Grill just opened in Chantilly, right next to Gold’s Gym, and our group of six ladies decided to try it for lunch after our yoga class. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, with comfortable sofas and chairs that made us feel right at home.
The place wasn’t too busy, with only a few tables occupied. Our waitress, Hanishka, was attentive and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes: garlic naan, Veg Korma, Malai Kofta, Apollo Fish, Butter Chicken, Boneless Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Everything was delicious! The chicken in each dish was especially tender, and we ordered medium spice across the board, which turned out to be just right for us.
Another staff member, Eddie, brought out the dishes and was super nice. I had the Apollo Fish, which was crispy and full of flavor. I didn’t realize it was listed as an appetizer, but Eddie kindly brought me a complimentary bowl of rice to go with it. I also sampled dishes from my friends' plates, and every item was tasty and well-prepared. The portions were generous, too.
We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back to try...
Read moreI recently visited this place & was very disappointed with the experience. The bathroom was filthy, which set a bad tone right away. Our server was inattentive, didn’t check on us & when she brought our drinks, she placed the straws directly into our cups with her bare hands which is completely unsanitary.
Dirty plates piled up after our meal & we had to ask for a dessert menu. I ordered the Guba Jamun, which came out cold. When I mentioned it they clearly just microwaved it too long…it was so overheated & tough that I couldn’t eat it. At that point, we had lost our appetite & simply asked for the check.
Despite the dessert being poorly handled, it was still included on the bill. When I brought it up, the only explanation given was that the kitchen staff was new. While I understand that training takes time, customers shouldn’t have to pay for mistakes like this.
While I understand things happen, the overall lack of hygiene, service & care made this a very disappointing visit. I won’t...
Read moreMy group and I had a 5 out of 5 experience when we visited this place for a late dinner. We craved for some Hyderabadi Biryani after we came out of a cinema at around 10:45 PM and found out this only Indian restaurant that was open at that time. They gladly accepted our takeout order when they were just about to close their kitchen. When we arrived at the restaurant at 11 PM, which was their scheduled closing time, we reluctantly asked the restaurant staff if we could dine in and they again happily agreed to change our takeout order to dine in even though they are about to close. All their staff, especially Lakshman were so nice and welcoming. They even offered us a complimentary appetizer (Pachi Mirchi Chicken) along with the hot dum biryani which tasted amazing. Small things like these make a great difference in running a restaurant. Please keep up...
