This place checks all the boxes for an amazing nail salon. The staff is more than friendly, they treat you like family. We came back after our second visit, and they remembered us! This has never happened to me before and I just assumed it’s hard to remember customers in general, but nope, not here. I also love their selection of colors. They have the polishes organized neatly, with both the regular and gel colors placed together (same for the dip and gel equivalents). They also don’t rush you to pick colors, and will help if you ask. I’ve been taking my friend to different nail salons in NOVA, and this is the place she settled on. It’s the only place where the dip nails haven’t lifted before 2 weeks. I had a minor issue where I accidentally broke my nail (my fault) a day after getting it done and they fixed it immediately.
I’ve gotten dip nails and pedis, and both services have been amazing. This place goes above and beyond to try and match the reference pic. I’ve been to places that make excuses instead of trying, but this place will at least attempt it or do something better. The deluxe pedi is relaxing and has my feet feeling so soft + moisturized. I love that it comes with the paraffin wax too. Their pedi chairs have little lifts for each foot so the nail tech and you aren’t struggling to hold it up as they work on that foot. This will probably be the last nail salon I do a review for (hopefully) since I don’t intend to go...
Read moreAll of my previous experiences were great, the technicians are amazing. Today’s experience threw me off, I came in for a take off, and was seated by a lady who probably doesn’t have much experience. After drilling down my nails she tried to POP them off and I had to ask her to use acetone(I’ve popped nails off before and my nails always come off with it and so much blood). After that she was drilling down the raining nail, and she cut me several times. I literally have four large cuts on my hands. Two of them were gushing blood, and she was telling me not to move. I was only moving because after getting cut my initial reaction is to flinch and retract my hand. On top of that I got charged $25 for a take off? I’ve never had to pay more than $10 at any other place. I don’t think the rate is fair especially for the pain I had to endure. I haven’t had problems with the other technicians but this lady needs to be trained more, she shouldn’t be touching other people’s nails until she’s able to hold a drill without cutting into skin. Safe to say I will not be returning, despite my previous positive...
Read more2.5 stars. I originally was going to post 4.5 when I got my set done but upon coming back a few weeks later for removal, the guy working there removed my extensions by grinding down the surface and prying the acrylics with a nail extension. As in he used a nail extension to scrape under the acrylics and pry it off. This way to remove extensions is totally not okay and damaging to the nail plate (it can even losen your nail). With the amount of force exerted to pry them off, he was struggling and even told me to tell him if I feel pain from the process. Totally not acceptable! That shouldn't even be a thing and the fact that it may hurt to the point he told me to tell him if I do is just red flags all around. Removing extensions shouldn't have hurt that much. If I wanted to remove them like that I would've just done it at home, but I came in because I wanted a professional to do them so I wouldn't damage the natural nails...now my nails are damaged 🫠 Photo attached is after I tried to do some damage control because it was way worse when I got...
