Dreadful experience at this sports bar. Encountered a bartender with severe anger management issues and unmistakable racial bias. The manager displayed reluctance in addressing the disturbing situation. Having previously enjoyed the atmosphere while watching a football game, my recent visit took a dark turn. Despite my neutral cheering in the past, supporting the Cowboys in a special Monday Night Football game seemed to trigger the bartender. The situation escalated after I spoke in Spanish to the barback. The bartender's annoyance was palpable, and when I ordered my second beer, he aggressively stared at me for an uncomfortably long time. I felt blatantly profiled, a sentiment reinforced when he commented on politeness during my third order. Seeking resolution privately, I extended an apology to the bartender, only to receive a condescending response. The breaking point came when, cheering for the Cowboys, the bartender unleashed a public expletive-laden tirade at me. The manager, without bothering to investigate, promptly asked me to leave. The lack of professionalism in this establishment is appalling. It appears that minorities are unfairly targeted, and the sports bar experience is exclusively reserved for patrons supporting the bartender's preferred teams. If you're not a local, a minority, or cheering for a different team, I strongly advise exploring alternatives like Backyard Grill or Hooters. Happy New Year! By the way, the Cowboys triumphed over the Lions – How 'bout...
Read moreEverything about Crossroads is amazing, from the pool tables, the service, and the food! I’ve been a regular up there for at least 15 years! If you’re lucky you’ll run into Kat at the bar, she’s been there as long as I have and she’s silly, fun, friendly, always smiling and laughing, all while keeping on top of her customers with no wait! There’s Nicole, also at the bar, who’s just as wonderful as Kat! Kali is a server, a newer addition, but at least a year or two in, who’s just like the others, sweet, silly, friendly, jokey, all while being at the top of her server game! Caesar is a server, who may be steering towards bartending, always friendly laughing and joking, also keeping up with orders. The staff there is one of the main reasons it’s my regular place. They make u feel right at home and part of their family. The staff has been there a long time, showing that it’s a great place to work. Staff even hang out while off duty. Previous staff come to hang out and see their “family”! The food is amazing as well, I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. And the regular guests who play pool are all awesome! Just a great place to be overall! I’m sure there are just as many friendly regular bar guests, but you’ll generally see me on the pool side! The atmosphere is amazing as well. Free live music on Fridays and DJs on Saturday and Sunday! If you check the place out, I guarantee...
Read moreMy brother and I decided to try Crossroads on Monday, April 1st, looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. We chose to sit at the bar in the non-smoking section. Unfortunately, our visit didn't go as planned. After being seated, we found ourselves waiting for 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff. When a server finally approached us, she seemed very tired and informed us she would return shortly. However, after she attended to other customer in the dining room, giving them refills and engaging in conversation, we were left unattended for an additional 20-30 minutes.
It's worth noting that during our wait, we were the only patrons at the bar, which added to our disappointment. We ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere due to the lack of service. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, and restaurants can be unexpectedly understaffed, communication from the staff about any delays or issues would have been appreciated. This experience left us feeling overlooked and undervalued as customers, and we hope it was an isolated incident rather than a reflection of the usual service...
