Meh. I should have never come back. I’ve avoided this place for years since my first experience. I decided to give it another go after my kid raves about Firehouse so much. I’m a steak and cheese guy. I have one major rule. You ALWAYS toast the roll. Period. I should have walked away when I saw mustard came on the steak and cheese here. I didn’t. I powered through and ordered one. I got no mustard, no green peppers and added LTM to go along with the so called caramelized onions for my sub. It should most certainly be called Firehouse Sandwiches because who cuts a sub roll completely in half??? I don’t want a sandwich. I want a sub. The bread was good but their version of “toasted” must not use a toaster because it was soft like wonder bread. Mine had mustard on it even though I said no mustard. The meat was ok as it’s keep in a warming tray. I finished it because I was hungry. I will not be going back to Firehouse again. Just not my type. This location had great service. It was clean etc. they are a little slow but other than that it was ok. To each his own.

Found mold on my bread. I am not feeling well. I lost my appetite and got rid of it. I took a couple bites before I discover it. I hope no one goes there after seeing this. Stood in front of register and no one would help me unless I asked for someone to ring me up. Be aware of this place as it could get you sick.

I got the Italian and just said make it however it comes. Wow it was absolutely delicious and bigger than I was expecting. I got the biggest size so did half for lunch and half for dinner but I love the Bread and whatever sauce they used. Always a clean place to visit but Def delicious! #ZinTravels

I was craving a good tasty sub with good bread and delicious filling and they did a stellar job! My friend and I love the same sandwiches so we decided to get a large and split it. We ordered a Prime Rib Steak Sub and doubled the meat, added cheddar in addition to the provolone, went for reduced fat mayo, and added triple sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions as well. We also ordered a bowl of their chicken and dumplings soup and 3 chocolate chip cookies. I ordered online through their website. It was quick and easy with LOTS of different options to customize our sandwich. When I got to the restaurant I was the only person there, (I went around 7:30 PM). The manager greeted me as did 2 other employees. I felt like Norm from Cheers! I went over to pick up my order, the manager apologized as they were out of the chocolate chip cookies so I asked for Oatmeal raisin instead and he gave me 2x extra ones. The chicken and dumplings soup was stellar! I was expecting your typical from the can bland soup but I wanted something hot and soup like on this cold wintery night. I was surprised! The soup was thick and creamy, seasoned perfectly, I could taste the freshness in the vegetables and the dumplings were the perfect size and firmness! the chicken was tasty and the spices were perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. The sub. Oh the Sub. I felt as if I'd trekked over to Ruth's Chris and ordered a perfect medium rare Prime Rib! The steak was delicate but perfectly roasted, the pairing with the cheeses and vegetables was a work of art. We both ate about 1/4 of the total sandwich and were stuffed. We now have leftovers that I am excited for already! All in ALL a true 5 start experience. I...

The Firehouse Subs in Chantilly at Sully Place has good food but we waited almost 20 minutes for our subs. The employees were friendly but they made my friend feel insulted. She told them she wanted a sub with a lot of meat and told them she would try the Engineer Sub. The girl said “If you want a sub with a lot of meat, you want the Hook and Ladder, it’s got ham too, you don’t want the Engineer”. When my friend said she would just add double meat onto her Engineer and that she did not like ham, the girl laughed and said “I’m telling you, you don’t want the Engineer, you want to try the Hook and Ladder”. My friend asked “why are you laughing” and told the girl “I just told you I don’t like ham”. The girl replied “Oh, alright” and told us to wait at that point. Did not apologize or say “sorry didn’t hear you”

The employees at this Firehouse need to speed things up a little. I don’t want them to slop my sub together but almost 20 minutes is unacceptable. They need to listen better and also stop telling people what they want. Offering a alternate or different product may seem perfectly reasonable, but saying it like the way they said it made my friend feel they were saying she’s dumb. Maybe next time when offering a different product you should say something like “That’s a great option but let me tell you about a better one with more meat on it” or don’t say anything like...
