I reached out to Luna on instagram about booking a consultation/appointment. To be honest I've been dreading trying to find someone to do my hair, I haven't gotten a haircut in like 2.5 years, my hair was so long like way past my butt. List of problems with my hair, was shedding like crazy cause of postpartum, my scalp was really damaged, hair felt flat and dead, and I gained weight so it was very unflattering for my face.

Reaching out to Luna was pretty easy and low threat, I was able to explain my hair issues. She was even able to fit me in later on to an earlier appointment slot! At the appointment I was able to explain that I overall wanted something short to medium length, like right past my shoulders, lots of layers, something easy to manage, and importantly something that flatters my face! Also since I have asian hair, I really preferred someone that knows how to work with that, but wanted someone that can do modern asian hair styles (lots of asian salons have much older hair stylists and their styles are kind of outdated).

I asked her to do her best judgement, and also requested to get a scalp and hair treatment prior to the cut. And it was really worth getting the extra services, my scalp isn't constantly irritated and my dandruff went down to almost nonexistent, and hair feels so soft and full of life!

When I got my hair cut, I was so surprised how much volume I got back in my hair, and she cut off like 15 inches of hair and asked me if I would like to donate it and so I did (so great she gave that option)! I was really happy with my haircut and felt that not only was it flattering but it gave me back a lot of confidence again!

Oh also Luna was a really sweet and fun person to talk to and really made me feel comfortable. In the past I always get lots of anxiety getting my haircut because I worry about getting judged, and like 95% time I would get a haircut I was not happy with. Also she really took her time with my hair, and very detailed with professional precision! I'm so happy I found Luna cause I love my haircut and felt more than happy to be a repeat customer...

After two decades of salon-hopping, I'm relieved and thrilled to say I've finally found my permanent hairstylist. I found Luna via google. I’ve been searching for a good hairstylist in this area and went to many different ones but didn’t like any of them. She had awesome reviews so I tried to make an appointment but she was booked for 2-3 months out. I needed a haircut pretty badly right away so I just went to a different person. It was fine but I wanted to find a hairstylist who could help me find a style that suited my face shape. I contacted Luna again and made the appointment. I had to wait a couple months but it was so worth it!!! First, she examined my hair and explained everything to me (I.e. texture of my hair, direction of my natural wave, and etc.). Then she suggested couple hairstyles that would be most suitable for my face and explain everything. Once I decided on the style, she got to work. She took her time from washing my hair (and not splashing any water on my face or being too rough), cutting, drying and styling it while explaining each step and giving me tips on how to take care of my hair. I’m very low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I don’t do anything and don’t know how to so I really appreciated everything she told me. I learned so much😅. I can safely say I have found my hairstylist! I would recommend her to everyone who wants a stylist that’s actually good and who will take their time with each client! The only thing is she gets booked 2-3 months out so if you’re a first timer, you may have to wait but...
