Santini's New York Style Deli - Chantilly — Restaurant in Chantilly

I've gone to this Saintins several times the customer service is normally good. Tonight I placed an order to be picked up as soon as I stepped out of the door the rain started coming down but my order has already been placed and they said it would be ready in ten minutes so twenty minutes later I run inside out of the pouring rain to retrieve my food I paid for my order first , if course they charged for three 12 inch steak and cheese although I ordered right inches, no probably the food is Soo good . After waiting ten more minutes looking at confused faces I'm told that they gave my order to the previous customer and u needed to wait but the thing is it seems that they think that I'm going to wait ten minutes for the food to be returned....how silly. When I said no way they said of course not we will make it over, thirty minutes later I got my food no apologies and needless to say I think that this could have been handled better . The place was not busy only one paying customer ahead of me and three patrons sitting down eating already. Word to the wise having good food is just that good food but good customer service is a great comotidy. There was a rip jar I felt like I deserved a tip...

They REALLY need to fix their ordering system. I ordered what I thought was going to be a turkey sub on a WHEAT sub roll (wheat sub rolls aren’t some exotic bread- even Subway has them). I was upcharged for the 12 inch. I ordered extra meat (upcharged) provolone (upcharged) and the usual (Lettuce onion tomato) plus black olives and green peppers. $6 Steak fries as a side which I asked for LIGHT on the salt. I didn’t say NO salt, just instead of 5 rounds from the shaker just a light coating, maybe one dash. I received a small sad mushy sandwich on wheat toast, no olives, no cheese, and the green peppers in a cup. The fries were cold and awful with NO SALT- just 3 salt packets thrown in. By then when the fries are cold any salt is useless. So I was upcharged for a 12 inch sub, provolone, extra turkey and 3 ingredients were either missing or in a deli container. The fries were inedible. Horrible. Used to love this place. Great pizza etc. there are plenty of other sub places I could get a basic turkey sub on a wheat sub roll- even Subway would’ve been better....

Don't go here! Turn around and go to Santini's in Reston! Or somewhere else. I ordered a grilled cheese - posted as on rye bread, with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. My husband got 1/2 way through his sandwich, before it came - on white bread with NO bacon, lettuce or tomatoes!! I went up to the counter and spoke with the kid who took the order, he said oh, sorry, I'll get it re-made, you can keep this one. Ok. fast forward, 20+ minutes later, no sandwich. I went to the kid again and asked what was going on with the grilled cheese? "I don't know" (!!) I said well, just poke your head inside (the kitchen) and find out. Another few minutes - we went to the manager - nice guy, English not his first language - said he'd get it for us. Another ten minutes, I was about ready to leave, now about 45 minutes since we came in, and the manager came with the sandwich. On WHITE Bread and NO lettuce.
